CAN YOU HEAR IT, my dear reader?  The sound! The sound of tumult all around?  It is as the prophet Isaiah declared concerning the end times – the Day of the LORD! Have you read this prophecy lately?   Oh please read it once more!

ISAIAH 13:4-13

A sound of tumult on the mountains, like that of many people!  A sound of the uproar of the kingdoms; of nations that have gathered together! YHWH of Hosts is mustering the army for battle ...

“They are coming from a far country, from the ends of the heavens – from the farthest horizons; YHWH and His instruments of wrath, to destroy the whole land.

“Wail, for the day of YHWH is near! It will come as destruction from the Almighty. Therefore all hands will fall limp, and every man's heart will melt. They will be terrified.

“Pains and anguish will take hold of them; they will writhe like a woman in labour; they will look aghast at one another, their faces aflame.

“Behold, the day of YHWH is coming; cruel, with fury and burning anger, to make the land a desolation; and He will exterminate its sinners from it.

“For the stars of heaven and their constellations will not flash forth their light. The sun will be dark when it rises, and the moon will not shed its light. Thus I will punish the world for its evil, and the wicked for their iniquity.

“I will also put an end to the arrogance of the proud, and abase the haughtiness of the ruthless. I will make mortal man scarcer than pure gold, and mankind more rare than the gold of Ophir.

“Therefore I shall make the heavens tremble; and the earth will be shaken from its place at the fury of YHWH of hosts, in the day of His burning anger.”

There’s an awful amount of noise – of tumult - going on out there – all over the earth. And it’s all pointing to the Climax of the Age!  I’m afraid, terribly afraid! It is just as the apostle Peter says:

The end of all things is near; therefore, be sober-minded and attentive to prayer.”

(1 Peter 4:7)

One of the top stories this month has been …

APR 2/13.  North Korea has warned that the Korean Peninsula has entered "a state of war," and it vowed to launch a nuclear strike against South Korea and Washington.

(The two Koreas remain technically at war because the 1950-53 Korean War ended in a truce, not a peace treaty. Naval skirmishes in the disputed waters off the Korean coast have led to bloody battles several times over the years.)

Intelligence reports suggest Pyongyang (the capital of the North) has readied two mid-range missiles on mobile launchers on its east coast, and was planning a test firing for the April 15, the birthday of the late founding leader Kim Il-Sung.

A missile launch would be highly provocative. The White House has said it is taking the new threats by North Korea very seriously, but it also noted that Pyongyang has a history of "bellicose rhetoric."

Of more concern is that North Korea appears to be preparing for a fourth nuclear test. Intelligence sources report heightened activity at the North’s main atomic test site.

It was the North's third nuclear test last February, and the subsequent UN sanctions that were imposed on the regime, that caused the current cycle of military tensions to break out.

Japan has ordered its armed forces to shoot down any North Korean missile headed towards its territory. Pyongyang responded by warning that any such attack would see Tokyo turned into a sea of fire.

APR 10/13. The combined US and South Korean forces have raised their alert level after intelligence services had spotted up to five mobile missile launchers north of the border. One long range Musudan missile has been spotted, upright, in launch position.

South Korea, Japan and the US have all moved missile-defence capable destroyers into the region to provide the capability to shoot down any North Korean missile.

North Korea has now shut down the Kaesong joint industrial zone that lies 10 kilometers inside the North’s side of the heavily-militarized border. The border factory complex was the last major symbol of co-operation between the two Koreas.

A South Korean Defence Ministry spokesman said the country's military remains mindful of the possibility that increasing North Korean drills near the border could lead to an actual provocation.

"The series of North Korean threats - announcing all-out war, scrapping the cease-fire agreement and the non-aggression agreement between the South and the North, cutting the military hotline, entering into combat posture No. 1, and entering a 'state of war' - are unacceptable and harm the peace and stability of the Korean Peninsula."

There has been growing global concern that the crisis could spiral out of control, and China appeared to respond to repeated calls for it to take a harder line with Pyongyang. “No one should be allowed to throw a region, even the whole world, into chaos for selfish gains,” Chinese President Xi Jinping told an international forum in southern China. Mr Xi's remarks were taken as a clear warning to the regime in Pyongyang which is hugely dependent on China's economic and diplomatic support.

China has backed the strongest UN sanctions on N Korea to date. It has also closed the biggest border crossing between North Korea and China to tourist groups, as nuclear tensions mounted. Apart from these measures there is no evidence that China has done anything concrete to rein in Kim Jong-Un.

China fears that pulling away North Korea's lifeline altogether would precipitate one of Beijing’s worst nightmares - a complete collapse of North Korea, resulting in millions of refugees streaming over its border and a vacuum of power that could ultimately lead to a unified Koreaallied with the United States.

North Korea's moves are being seen by some observers as ways to build domestic unity as its young leader, Kim Jong-Un, strengthens his military credentials. Some believe Kim - who has presided over the North's recent successful nuclear and ballistic missile test - needs one more big bang to solidify his position.

So Kim Jong-Un is going to the brink of war in an effort to consolidate his own power at home and to wring concessions from South Korea and the West, like his father and grandfather had done before him. Only this time, the youthful inexperienced dictator is operating on the razor's edge with virtually no room for error. Kim Jong-Un's father and grandfather had followed threatening but predictable patterns of behaviour. They knew when to pull back, helped by a succession of US presidents who gave in too easily to their demands in order to buy a temporary peace. Kim Jong-Un may be trying the same tactic, but is feeling his way awkwardly and encountering more resistance from the international community.

Maybe it is simply “Kim-politics.”  But there is a lot of concern and considerable fear – if not of a nuclear conflict, then, of another nasty North/South conflict.

Why is the US now responding strongly to North Korea? Time magazine says the “US pivot toward Asia – and the potential forconfrontation with China – became a little more real this week with the arrival of a new class of warship designed to fight in coastal waters.”

That “pivot” has been declared by the Obama administration itself – a professed strategy of putting a greater focus on the Asia region. Defence Secretary Chuck Hagel made clear, the US and the Department of Defence are committed to a rebalance towards the Asia-Pacific region.

In recent days, the US flew a pair of nuclear-capable B-2 stealth bombers over an uninhabited South Korean island, dropping dummy munitions as part of annual defence drills that North Korea viewed as rehearsals for an invasion.

Chuck Hagel also announced that the US will fortify its defenses against a potential North Korean missile attack on the US by adding more than a dozen missile interceptors to the 26 already in place at Fort Greely, Alaska.

Some analysts see the US actions as a provocation – an attempt to draw the North into a conflict that could lead to the demise of the brutal communist regime.

Taking out North Korea would rob China of a strategic ally, and that would help the US to encircle the Chinese regime. This would be in line with Obama’s new “Pacific Pivot.”

China is now a great concern to the US, as it is a powerful

leader of the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India,  China  and  S. Africa), the group that is planning to create a new monetary system that would weaken the IMF and US dollar.

N Korea and Iran are among a growing number of nations bucking the Intl. US $ system that requires the trading of oil to be carried out in US dollars.  The dollar is slowly and surely being weakened.

Even the newly-introduced Australian $ direct convertibility with the Chinese yuan, though not bucking the US, does add to the weakening of the US $.

American wrath has already fallen on several nations that have tried to buck the Intl. US $ system. Iran is one more which is now in the sights of the US admin.

Although it may appear that Obama is more interested in protecting the Tehran regime than removing it, he is actually under the control of the NWO insiders who are planning world war as a means of reshaping the inter-national order.

In the meantime, the US is determined to protect the dollar until such time as a new Intl. Economic System comes into being, as part of the New World Order.

The “New World Elite” have no real regard for the US, or for any nation! They are all expendable nations that can be used to further the globalists’ agenda.

When we study the Bible prophecies, we do not find any clear reference to the existence of the US.  We do see Iran (Persia) allied with the Northern Confederation of Rosh, both of which will be destroyed in WW3.  (Ezekiel 38& 39)

China and Japan, we believe, will be leaders of the Kings of the East (Rev 16:12).  North Korea, possibly, will be with them as they are destroyed along with the Antichrist’s Confederation at Armageddon.

It’s all coming to an end – the kingdoms of this world.  The countdown is getting lower every day!

It’s the Kingdom of the Messiah, Y’shua, which will not be destroyed. It will replace them all.  HalleluYah!

“In the time of those kings, the God of the heavens will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed - a kingdom that will not be left to another people. It will crush all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure for ever.

“Inasmuch as you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it crushed the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold - the great God has made known to the king what will come to pass after this. The dream is true, and its interpretation is sure.”  (Daniel 2:44-45)

“And the seventh angel sounded his trumpet; and there arose loud voices in heaven, crying, ‘The kingdoms of the world have become the kingdom ofYHWH our LORD and of His Anointed – the Messiah; and He will reign for ever and ever’.”  (Revelation 11:15)

HalleluYah!   Amen!

Now let’s look at what else is happening in the world.

It is not just one thing!  It is a whole lot of events and threats that are unfolding before our eyes. Many struggles are going on – struggles for survival – from the mightiest nation on earth – the US, down to the impoverished millions of the homeless and starving, and the slaves, to the destitute teenagers in our gutters fighting their addictions.

Many people are asking, “Why does God allow all this misery? Doesn’t He care about the high levels of cruelty and corruption afflicting our nations?  Doesn’t He see the servitude and the suffering?  Doesn’t He know about our torrid trials and traumas?”

The answer is: God does see, He does know, and care. HE has not created our conditions. It is WE, humanity, who have despised His instructions, and like lost sheep, we have gone our own way, and we have brought the miseries upon ourselves.  But still the Almighty has not given up on us. He has warned us, and He waits to save us.  He yearns for our right response to His call.

Turn and look to Me and be saved, all you ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other.” (Isaiah 45:22)

Y’shua the Messiah says: “Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)  “Look, I am standing at the door, knocking! If anyone hears and heeds My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will eat in fellowship with him, and he with Me.” (Revelation 3:20)

But many people in the nations refuse the provisions of the Saviour, and instead, work and hope for …

RUSSIAN President, Vladimir Putin gave an unprecedented welcome to the new Chinese leader, President Xi Jinping. (Xi is pronounced as Si or Shi).

Xi Jinping began his first overseas trip as president with a much anticipated visit to Russia - a symbolic trip that underlines China's desire to ensure its energy supply while showing defiance in the face of increasing US influence in Asia.

A grand red carpet reception was provided for Xi Jinping upon his arrival in Moscow, with guards riding on horseback brought out, as they do, to greet a foreign leader for the first time. Kremlin guards snapped to attention as Mr Xi and his long retinue walked into the gilded, chandeliered Grand Kremlin Palace, where they met members of official delegations.

“China and Russia are the main and most important strategic partners,” Mr Xi told Russian media upon his arrival. He said he was eagerly anticipating his meeting with President Vladimir Putin. “In many ways we speak a common language,” he said.

The grand welcome was a clear indication of the importance placed on the visit by Moscow. Russia is one of the world's biggest energyproducers, and China is the top energy consumer. These realities tend to outweigh the traditionally tense relations between the two neighbouring giants, who were bitter rivals during the Soviet era despite their ideological (communist) links.

Russia has watched China's rise with concern, anxious that it might someday threaten its dominance on its eastern borders. But a bigger concern for the Kremlin, one that it shares with China, is the need to blunt US influence in the region. At the start of their talks, Mr Putin described the ties between the two countries as an “extremely important factor of global politics.”

Ahead of Mr Xi's arrival, Putin said: “We are working together, helping to shape a new, more just world order, to ensure peace and security, and to defend basic principles of international law.” Mr Xi said that the relations between the two countries are the best ever.

Beijing and Moscow have taken similar stances on some of the biggest geopolitical issues of recent years, from North Korea to Iran, to Syria, often voting in concert to veto punitive sanctions by the UN Security Council.

Many analysts believe their relationship is likely to strengthen, especially as the United States tries to expand its influence in Asia.

While Putin and Xi Jinping are expected to discuss Syria and North Korea, it is the economy that is likely to dominate their deliberations.

Shortly before Mr Xi arrived in Russia, a £1.3bn deal was announced by Russian and Chinese companies to develop coal resources in eastern Siberia. Russia also sees China as a way to diversify its energy markets away from Europe and it is keen to tie up a potentially enormous gas deal which could eventually see almost 70 billion cubic meters of gas pumped to China annually for the next 30 years.

After his tour of Russia, Mr Jinping  visited South Africa to attend the fifth BRICS summit. The five key emerging economies that make up BRICS - Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa - have become an increasingly important channel for China and Russia to counter growing US influence.

BRICS countries hold reserves totalling £3 trillion, most of them held by China; and China now accounts for 20% of Africa's exports.

China surpassed the US and Europe as Africa's largest trading partner in 2009, and it has maintained its leading place in the years since.

APR 8/13.  At a banking conference, Vice President Joe Biden called for the creation of a “new world order” with new financial institutions, updated global rules, a level playing field, and a prosperous China.

His comments seem to line up with the president’s “pivot-toward-Asia” – a professed strategy of putting a greater focus on the Asia region. And his statements come as the US increased its deployments in the Pacific, purportedly in response to threats from North Korea.

Those military moves prompted much speculation in the news media that some of the White House response to North Korea may be related to the larger pivot to Asia that has been a major Obama administration policy goal.

                                      Vice President JOE BIDEN

Mr Biden’s remarks also come one week after China, Russia and other  (BRICS) powers announced the creation of a new economic orderthat would rival the Western-dominated World Bank and IMF

Delivering the keynote address at the Export-Import Bank Conference in Washington,  Biden stated, “the affirmative task we have now is to create a new world order . . .  Because the global order is changing again, and the institutions of the world worked so well in the post-World War II era for decades, they need to be strengthened, and some need to be changed.”

“So we have to do what we do best, we have to lead,” he stated. “We have to update the global rules of the road, we have to do it in a way that maximizes benefits for everyone, because obviously, it’s overwhelmingly in our interests.

“This is not a zero sum game; it’s overwhelmingly in our interest, that China prospers, that Mongolia prospers, that nations big and large, East and West prosper.

“We have to level the playing field so that companies and workers can compete in the world, and that the com-petition is fair and it’s healthy.”   - AARON KLEIN /

“And they said, ‘Come, let us build for ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in heaven, and let us make for ourselves a name, lest we be scattered over all the face of the earth’." (Genesis 11:4)

Seated beside President Obama, the Israeli PM spoke to his Turkish counterpart from a trailer at the Israeli airport, on March 22. Binyamin Netanyahu offered an “apology” to PM Erdogan for the loss of life on the Marmara flotilla in 2010. The Turkish leader accepted the apology and agreed to normalize ties between the two countries.

The question is, Why now, nearly three years after the Israeli naval commandos boarded a Turkish ship in the small hours of the night and, greeted with violence and fearing their lives were in danger, opened fire and killed nine Turkish nationals? Why now, some 18 months after the UN report on the raid was released, and Erdogan expelled the Israeli ambassador from Ankara?

The first reason is that Syria is falling apart, and its neighbours to the north, south and east have a shared interest in preventing chaos next door.

“The possibility that Israel and Turkey will put together a joint military task force to prevent the spread of chemical weapons within Syria, is one that cannot be ruled out,” Yaakov Amidror, Israel’s national security adviser said.

Such a possibility was still far off but as Syria dis-integrates, and as Islamist elements seize control of key territories, it is in Israel’s advantage to ensure that Turkey will not exercise its veto against Israeli cooperation with NATO.  “As soon as the relationship with Turkey is restored, it will lose its desire to harm Israel’s ties with NATO,” Amidror said.

Secondly, Turkey’s own regional aspirations and those of Erdogan are also a factor. On a personal level, Erdogan needs stability. His term in office ends in 2014 and the constitution, in its current form, bars him from running for re-election. He seeks to amend the law to create a presidential regime with extended power.

That aspiration was what sparked talks with the PKK, a Kurdish organization whose jailed leader, Abdullah Ocalan, recently called for a historic ceasefire. And it was one of the reasons why Erdogan accepted an offer from Israel that has been on the table for some time: “He wants quiet.”

Thirdly, on the international level, Turkey’s doctrine of “Ottomanism” has run into the wall. Hoping to ride the wave of anti-Israel sentiment in the Arab world, Erdogan found that his comments equating Zionism with fascism earned a stern rebuke from Secretary of State John Kerry, and gained little traction (interest) in the turbulent Arab world.

Despite its championing of Hamas, Turkey had no hand in brokering the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas last November. The Egyptians were in the driver’s seat and did not even let Erdogan visit the Gaza Strip.

Jordan’s King Abdullah also, is not a fan of the new Ottoman agenda. He recently said that Erdogan views democracy as a bus ride -- “Once I get to my stop, I’m getting off.”

Economically, also, Turkey has every reason to mend its ties with Israel. Bilateral trade between the two countries reached $4 billion in 2011, with a clear export surplus for Turkey.  Turkey can’t afford to turn its back on Israel – one of the few growing economies in the region, and the only stable state other than Turkey itself.

Fourthly, more than all those considerations lies IRAN. It’s barely mentioned, but the fact is that Turkey plays a pivotal role in Israel’s air defences against the Islamic Republic. A NATO radar base in Kurecik, eastern Turkey, established in 2011 and manned by US soldiers, relays critical intelligence to Israel.

The Turks have always claimed that Israel has nothing to do with the radar base, but the Arrow system, Israel’s defence against Iranian Shahab 3 missiles, is reliant on it.

If Erdogan truly sought to extract a price from the Jewish state, he would suspend the radar activity. But that sort of measure would have grave implications. Erdogan, for all his relentless criticism of Israel, has never taken it. Why not? Because Sunni Islamic Turkey does not want to see its neighbour, Shiite Iran, armed with the bomb. Mr Erdogan, himself, wants to lead the Middle East. He does not want to hand that prize to the ayatollahs.

So with some prodding from Washington, and a climb-down from Jerusalem, Erdogan took a reluctant step in the direction of Obama and his “new friend Bibi.”                                                                                                              Source:

APR 2/13.  Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Ze'ev Elkin has confirmed that the apology to Turkey over the Marmara incident is connected to the concern that Iran might obtain a nuclear weapon.

Elkin told Voice of Israel public radio that restoration of ties with Ankara is one of the subjects at the top of the government's current agenda. He said that in the course of the coming fortnight, the two sides will discuss compensation for the families of the Turkish citizens killed aboard the Marmara, and other matters. He estimated that it will not be possible to return to the warm relations Israel and Turkey had in the past, but explained that this was not because of the Marmara incident. Rather, he said, it was because of the Turkish PM's "geopolitical ambitions."

However, Elkin added, making amends with Turkey serves the Israeli interest because of the crisis in Syria, because of the Iranian nuclear issue, and because of the importance of co-operation between Israel and NATO.

While a US strike on Iran's nuclear weapons program would be launched primarily from aircraft carriers in the Persian Gulf, an Israeli strike would require using a quarter of the Israel Air Force’s fighters.

The jets would have to hug the Syrian-Turkish border before flying over both Iraq and Iran. The number of aircraft required, refuelling along the way, and getting to the targets without being detected or intercepted, would be complex and high risk, and would lack any assurance that the overall mission will have a high success rate. Co-operation with Turkey would, of course, make this mission much easier for Israel. At a minimum, Turkey could agree to turn a blind eye as Israeli jets fly over its territory.                                                                                                                                       – Source Arutz Sheva

Netanyahu’s apology to Turkey for the deaths of its citizens during the flotilla raid, misses the point. The tension with Turkey was never really about the operation. It was about making Israel bow to Turkey, and about crowning PM Erdogan as the ‘new king of the Islamists.’

The actions taken by the Turkish government since Netanyahu’s apology show that its goal is submission, not reconciliation. Major differences between Israel and Turkey remain, particularly over the Palestinian issue.

Erdogan is extending his time in the spotlight by demanding that Israel pay $1 million to each of the nine casualties’ families, ten times the amount Israel has offered.

He is not yet dropping his case against the Israeli generals involved in the raid, nor is he fully restoring diplomatic ties with Israel. And he’s announced that he will visit the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip in what is seen as a thinly-concealed victory lap.

The aspirations of the Turkish government were frankly stated by Foreign Minister Davutoglu, last May. He said, “We will manage the wave of change in the Middle East. Just as the ideal we have in our minds about Turkey, we have an ideal of a new Middle East. We will be the leader and the spokesperson of a new peaceful order, no matter what they say.”

The Turkish government has announced its intention to build a mega-mosque in Istanbul that will have the tallest minarets in the world, and that will “be seen from every corner of the Bosphorus.” This is a reflection of its grand vision of dominance.

Erdogan was rated as the second most influential Muslim leader of 2012, behind only Saudi King Abdullah. Despite his reputation as a “moderate,” Erdogan has said that Hamas is a resistance” group, not a terrorist group.

He has won the admiration of Hamas leader, Khaled Mashaal, who said, “Turkey’s support for the people of Syria and Palestine is unforgettable. My brother Erdogan, thank goodness God gave you so much. And you deserve it. You are also a leader in the Muslim world.”

Contrary to a general viewpoint, the Turkish government is not a “moderate” regime trying to position itself to help bring peace in the Middle East. Instead, its top officials are promoting the themes against Israel’s right to exist that sustain the conflict.

Erdogan recently said that “Islamophobia” and Zionism are crimes against humanity on par with fascism and anti-Semitism. He also calledIsrael a “terrorist state” during the latest round of fighting with Hamas.

Last July, the Turkish government proposed limits on freedom of speech for the sake of “public morality,” “national security,” “public order,” and to “prevent pro-war propaganda, discriminations and hate.” And the increased Islamization of Turkey corresponds with increased discrimination against Christians and Jews and hostility to the US and Israel.

Israel may stand strong against Iran, Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood, but it caved in to Turkey. The apology and the West’s reluctance to confront Turkey sends the signal that Erdogan is the leader of the region.            -

A later report adds to the above.  Erdogan does have an audacious plan to reshape the region. He wants to enhance Turkey's regional standing and extend his own political dominance. The road to success depends on his ending Turkey's 30-year conflict with its Kurdish population, and also on the making of a deal with the Kurdish Regional Government in northern Iraq.

Erdogan is now having negotiations with Abdullah Ocalan, the jailed leader of the Kurdish Workers Party (PKK), the armed resistance movement.  In March, almost a million people attended a mass rally in the southeast Turkey where a message from Ocalan called for the end to the armed struggle. The hope is that Ergodan will agree on a new, more liberal constitution that will strengthen the rights of the Kurds.

At the same time, the Turkish government is pursuing a path of negotiations with the autonomous Kurdish Authority in Northern Iraq. The grand vision is for Iraqi Kurdistan to be integrated into the Turkish economy.

When National Security Council head Yaakov Amidror arrives in Turkey to discuss compensation for flotilla victims, he will also be seeking to lay the groundwork for the stationing of Israeli fighter jets in an airbase near Ankara, ahead of a possible strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities, the Sunday Times reported.

Syria’s Death Toll in March was the highest in the Civil War. More than 6,000 people were killed in the month.

Over 63,000 victims have fallen in the two-year civil war – at least a third of them civilians -- as the Syrian government desperately tries to hold on to power using massive artillery and mortar shells to attack rebel forces  in residential neighbourhoods. The Syrian Air Force has also carried out air strikes using Scuds and other missiles.

Both Iran and Hizb’ullah have supplied troops and weapons to the Syrian regime.

The US, Britain and France have initiated military training programs for selected opposition factions – such as the Free Syrian Army – and provided non-lethal equipment and medical aid as well.

Western leaders have said they have no intention of providing aid to radical Islamic factions aligned with the Al Qaida terrorist organization, such as the increasingly popular Al Nusra Front.

The “moderate” Western-backed rebel factions sometimes collaborate with their jihadist counterparts in joint military operations against Syrian government targets.

This issue causes concern in the international community, especially given Assad’s weakening grip on power, and the rising concern that rebel forces may gain access to the government’s massive arsenal of biological and chemical weaponry.  – Arutz Sheva

The Syrian government is sending members of its irregular militias for guerrilla combat training at a secret base in Iran, in a move to bolster its armed forces drained by two years of fighting and defections, fighters and activists said.

Syria is on course to become a more fruitful breeding ground for jihadist fighters than Afghanistan or Iraq, according to new research which found that up to 5,500 foreigners have joined the civil war in less than two years.

An Israel's military intelligence chief claims Iran and Hizb’ullah have built a 50,000-strong force in Syria to help prolong the life of the Assad regime and to maintain their influence after his fall.

APR 6/13. Iran and six world powers failed to reach agreement on how to reduce fears that Tehran might use its nuclear technology to make weapons, extending the years of inconclusive talks, and adding to concerns that the diplomatic window on reaching a deal with Tehran may soon close.

APR 8/13. Iran is threatening to withdraw from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty in the wake of the failure of the latest negotiations between the Islamic regime and world powers.

Since the United States and European countries are not in compliance with the treaty and regulations of the International Atomic Energy Agency, why should Iran be in compliance, asks Alaeddin Boroujerdi, chairman of the Iranian Committee for Foreign Policy and National Security of the regime’s parliament.

“It is not acceptable for Iran to respect the NPT and the agency’s regulations but America and the West disregard its articles such as article 6 (mandating reduction of nuclear weapons) and article 4 (Iran’s nuclear rights),” Boroujerdi told Fars News Agency, an outlet run by the Revolutionary Guards.

“Therefore there is no reason for Iran to remain a member of the NPT, and the parliament can review this status.”

APR 2/13.  For the Muslim Brotherhood, the long awaited dream come true is turning into a nightmare. Having survived 80 years of persecution to achieve power demo-cratically, they suddenly find themselves the focus of widespread popular hatred. Never have Egyptians been in such dire economic straits. The economy is in shambles.

President Mohamed Morsi, however, is not about to give up and    make way for new presidential elections. And the Brotherhood will spare no effort to stay in power. Such is the depth of the economic, social and political crisis, that the threat of civil war in Egypt appears to be all too real.

Most commentators believe the army won’t let things go that far and will step in; however the road back to recovery and a civilian regime accepted by all will be long and arduous Civil disobedience is rampant.

In Port Said the police have disappeared from the streets and the army has been called in to maintain law and order. Indeed here and there people are petitioning the courts to appoint popular Defence Minister Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to rule Egypt in Morsi’s stead. They know it won’t happen but are trying to make a point.

Demonstrations calling for getting rid of Morsi and of the Brotherhood are held on a daily basis in Cairo and in cities all over the country. They are met by militant groups of the Brotherhood. Dozens have died and thousands were wounded in the resulting clashes, though both sides are trying not to let the violence escalate.

In a remarkable and enduring show of unity, non-Islamic opposition parties under the banner of the National Salvation Front are boycotting the regime until their demands – canceling the Islamic constitution and setting up a consensus government until new elections are held – are met.

The Muslim Brotherhood who had won a sweeping victory in the first free parliamentary elections and got their candidate elected president, have bitterly disappointed the people who had put their faith in them.

Nothing has been done to improve their lot. Upon taking office Morsi had to take care of five burning issues within a hundred days: growinginsecurity, monster traffic jams in the capital, lack of fuel and cooking gas, lack of subsidized bread, and the mounting piles of refuse in the streets.

The regime plods on as if unaware of the fact that times have changed and that people are no longer afraid to take to the streets to fight for the future of their country.

On the contrary, Morsi is hard at work appointing as many of his men as he can everywhere, from national to regional and local positions supervising everything from public order to food distribution – such as it is – under his direct orders. Clearly, he is here to stay.

In the meantime, currency reserves are bleeding, there may be soon not enough money to pay for imports of petrol and basic food supplies.

Without these reforms the IMF is withholding the $4.8 billion loan Egypt desperately needs; there is also the problem of the interest to be paid. Islamic circles are vehemently opposing any form of interest, which they say is prohibited by Sharia law. Until a solution is found, Western countries will not lend any money to Egypt.

Investors have fled, tourists are scared. Hunger riots may not be far off. Yet the Brotherhood surges blindly on, not ready to let go of the golden prize achieved after nearly a century. And so the standoff goes on between the regime and the opposition, while quicksand threatens to engulf them all.   - From article by Zvi Mazel, a former Israeli ambassador to Romania, Egypt and Sweden. – Arutz Sheva

APR 4/13.  Natural gas from the offshore Tamar field was pumped to Israeli shores for the first time last week, four years after its discovery, in preparation for its first use in the Israeli energy market — a move that could transform the Israeli economy.

The Tamar deposit, discovered in 2009, some 90 kilometers west of Haifa, holds an estimated 8.5 trillion cubic feet of natural gas.

Hailed as an “important day for the Israeli economy” by Benjamin Netanyahu, natural gas from the field was being pumped to a newly erected facility on the coast of Ashdod, connected to the gas field via pipelines laid out on the ocean floor, 150 kms long and 16 inches wide.

Commenting on the historic development, Netanyahu drew a link between the event and the holiday of Passover. “On the festival of freedom, we are taking an important step toward energy independence. We have advanced the natural gas sector in Israel over the last decade, which will be good for the Israeli economy and for all Israelis,” he said.

The gas is being transferred from the facility to a processing plant in Ashdod. From there, it will flow into the Israeli market. The controlling Tamar shareholder, Yitzhak Tshuva, said the start of pumping came “months ahead of schedule,” and that the gas flow “will make Israel energy independent.”

“This is an ‘energy independence day’ for Israel,” says Energy and Water Minister Silvan Shalom. “This breakthrough is a harbinger (indication) of an array of additional private companies that will now enter the Israeli energy market.”

The Tamar deposit, and especially the heftier Leviathan, which was discovered in 2010, are expected to provide Israel with enough natural gas for decades and will transform the country, famously empty of natural resources, into an energy exporter. Leviathan, which boasts an estimated 16 to 18 trillion cubic feet of gas, is expected to go online in 2016 when exports are expected to begin.

Instead of being an ingredient which serves to calm the tensions of the eastern Mediterranean, Israel’s gas discoveries provide instead another impetus for rivalry.

The discoveries are just a portion of the huge reserves in the Levant Basin, which the US Geological Survey estimated in 2010, holds some 122 trillion cubic feet of recoverable natural gas.

While Israel’s finds are minimal compared to gas giants Russia, Iran or Qatar, they are more than enough for the country’s domestic needs and would enable the country to reduce its reliance on costlier and dirtier oil and coal.

Nearby Cyprus is also becoming newly-rich through oil and gas. Israel’s other neighbours, including Lebanon, may discover their own deposits, and/or challenge Israel’s rights to its fields. Israel is looking for new ships to protect its installations.

In all, Israel has just the world’s 46th largest supply of proven natural gas reserves, according to the CIA Factbook. But the country’s proximity to Middle Eastern and European markets could make it an important regional player. For oil companies hoping to profit from the new wealth, the biggest hurdle at present is the lack of an export policy.    - Times of Israel

                 By Hal Lindsey, in U.S.

Cyprus is a small island in the Mediterranean Sea, just 200 miles off the coast of Israel. It is a member of the European Union.

In the last few years, large gas and oil reserves have been discovered off the coast of Cyprus. This has focused international attention on the tiny republic and caused a great deal of internal strife over the distribution of the newfound revenues.

Recently, Cyprus as a small nation, and more particularly its banking sector, has fallen on hard times. So hard, in fact, that without a bailout loan of many billions, the nation faces bankruptcy.

A group of money powers known as "The Troika," which consists of the European Union, the European Central Bank, and the International Monetary Fund, agreed to help the island nation. But, unlike their bailouts of other European nations like Spain or Greece, this time the Troika demanded more than a tightening of the belt or an increase in income tax revenues or the addition of a national value-added tax.

This time, they demanded that Cyprus arbitrarily invade the bank accounts of ordinary citizens and appropriate (seize) 7 to 10% of the money in order to help repay the nation’s debt.

As Cyprus is an offshore financial shelter for many Russians, President Putin was furious over the Troika’s demand. He protested loudly and angrily. So did the Cypriots themselves.

In fact, their House of Representatives voted to reject the imposition of a tax on smaller accounts, but faced with impending default, acquiesced to a tax on larger accounts. Strangely, so did Putin. For some reason he agreed to keep his mouth shut when the dust settled, and up to 60% of savings accounts in excess of 100,000 Euros was taken over by the government.

To prevent a run on the banks that would collapse the system, the government abruptly closed Cyprus's banks. What was supposed to be 24 hours turned into two weeks!

Imagine how you would feel if you were, without warning, told you couldn't withdraw money from your bank for two weeks?

Can you think of any action the world powers could take that would send a greater chill through the world banking and financial sectors than arbitrary confiscation of private funds to pay debts run up by socialist politicians? And we've all seen what can happen when there are crises in the banking and financial markets!

Will that happen here in the US also? To paraphrase our nation's founders, “What Big Brother gives, Big Brother can take away”!

Unfortunately, it's already happening, but through cleverly disguised "fees" and "account charges."

Even more subtly, the same thing is happening when the Federal Reserve System prints money backed by nothing and floods the markets. Every dollar printed causes the value of every dollar in your wallet to decrease. The Treasury agents might as well show up at your house and demand that you give them your wallet!

You may be asking yourself, "How does Cyprus concern me?" Well, even though the economy of Cyprus is smaller than the smallest state in our union, it's conceivable that a collapse there could trigger other collapses in the Eurozone and spark a complete meltdown. If nothing else, the whole affair is undermining the already shaky confidence in European banks and financial markets.

All it takes is a trigger, a lead domino to fall and start the whole chain collapsing. This crisis illustrates just how close we may be to the final meltdown that will open the door to the Antichrist.

Apr 12/13.  A final agreement was reached today on a 10 billion bailout loan for Cyprus at a meeting of eurozone finance ministers. Cyprus will be expected to repay most of its loans within 15 years, but it will benefit from a much lower interest rate than other crisis-hit countries.

The Obamacare Healthcare will be a disaster for anyone interested in having quality medical care and choice in the US. Since the government makes the rules, they will decide just how much is enough for a person’s retirement.

President Obama’s budget plan will limit how much a wealthy individual can keep in retirement accounts.

Following the lead of Cyprus and Obamacare, the Australian Federal Labor government is planning to increase its revenue by reforming the taxation laws so that retirees’ superannuation earnings can be “taxed” – just for the rich at present. The wealth of the rich should be used to service the nation they say.  Communism dogma, isn’t it?

The BRICS countries – Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa – are seeking to create a monetary system to rival and even surpass the West.

While it received little US media attention, at its recent fifth annual summit, the BRICS group unveiled what it said was a new development bank aimed at breaking the monopoly held by Western-backed institutions.

The bank would use $50 billion of seed capital shared equally between Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa but would clearly be dominated by China.

Russian President Vladimir Putin gave support for the bank while India’s trade minister said BRICS will “have a defining influence on theglobal order of this century.”

“It’s done,” said the South African Finance Minister. “We made very good progress” on the formation of a World Bank-analogue development agency.

Although Iran is not a BRICS member, its Press TV described the deal this way: “The BRICS bank will present an alternative solution to the Western-dominated global banking system comprised of the Bretton Woods institutions – the World Bank (WB) and International Monetary Fund (IMF).

“The new bank will provide a collective foreign exchange reserve and a fund for financing developmental projects in order to address the needs of emerging and poor economies.  BRICS members say the current global balance of power is unworkable, with institutions such as the WB, the IMF and the United Nations Security Council irrelevant in addressing matters concerning global economics.”

Under the BRICS deal, the two largest economies of the emerging power group, China and Brazil, agreed to remove nearly half of their trade exchanges out of the US dollar zone – a significant blow to the US dollar.

While some in the US are skeptical that the BRICS moves will actually work, The New American took another view, arguing the BRICS bank isa step closer toward a world government: “Aside from a planetary fiat currency and central bank, the erection of a true world governmentwas at the heart of BRICS regimes’ machinations outlined in their final agreement.”

The publication pointed out the BRICS declaration at the end of last week’s summit included: “We reiterate our strong commitment to the UN as the foremost multilateral forum entrusted with bringing about hope, peace, order and sustainable development to the world.”

The statement added, “We reaffirmed our commitment to the promotion of international law, multilateralism and the central role of the United Nations.”

BRICS clearly sees a reshaped economic world in which government-run companies play a significant role.

“We acknowledge the important role that State Owned Companies (SOCs) play in the economy and encourage our SOCs to explore ways of cooperation, exchange of information and best practices,” the declaration states.

“As the global economy is being reshaped, we are committed to exploring new models and approaches towards more equitable development and inclusive global growth.”                                                                                                                           Source -

APR 10/13. Several US states are now rushing to push bills through their parliaments, allowing for gold and silver to be recognized as legal tender. Politicians fear that the U.S. economy is going to collapse.

Lawmakers say the global economy is on the precipice of financial ruin and the US dollar could soon be worth less than the paper used to make it.

Arizona is one of more than a dozen states to incorporate similar laws into their roster, as many conservatives are harboring a growing distrust in government-backed money.  In 2011, Utah became the first state in the country to legalize gold and silver coins as currency.

In 1971, President Richard Nixon formally abandoned the gold standard. Now Republicans are pushing for it to come back as they do not trust President Obama, and the economic policies put into place by Ben Bernanke during his time as the chairman of the Federal Reserve.  - Daily Mail Reporter and Associated Press

Recently, two US senators met with President Obama, vouching for a biometric national ID card that would force workers to submit to a fingerprint, hand, or iris scan. Any worker failing to comply with this biometric tracking mandate, would be terminated from their job.

The program would be titled the "BELIEVE System," an acronym for Biometric Enrollment, Locally-stored Information and ElectronicVerification of Employment.

The ID card would contain a digital encryption key that would be required to match work authorization databases. The micro-processing chip on the card would store the biometric identifier. The worker would be required to carry this card, and the employer forced to scan it.

The two sponsors of the legislation, Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) say the new identification cards will "ensure that illegal workers cannot get jobs, dramatically decreasing illegal immigration."

After meeting privately with the senators, President Obama "welcomed" their new ID card law and said the plan was "promising."

This biometric tracking system would force employers to refuse someone work who didn't match up in the database, bringing up the question:

"What if freedom-loving Americans don't want their hands or eyes scanned?" In a free country, no one should be required to submit their body to such control. Whether they are being scanned by a radiation device or whether they are being patted up and down by TSA thugs, American's should stand for their right to their own body.

Previous attempts of human cataloging have failed. In 2004, Rep. David Drier's Federal ID card plan failed, which included a photographed social security card with an encrypted electronic strip. In 2007, President Bush's similar proposal failed, and not too long after, the Real ID Actfailed as well. This law forced states to standardize driver's licenses. Now, as tyrants attempt to catalog the populace, people can only hope that the tireless minority of freedom-loving Americans will rise up and stop these crazy biometric scanning plans.

It's about control! This ID law would control employers as well, requiring them to have a government scanning device, or an "ID scanner" to verify the ID cards.

More than half a billion birth control procedures, including at least 336 million abortions, have been performed in the name of the one-child policy, China's Health ministry has revealed.  - UK Telegraph

“Evil men and imposters will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.”

(2 Timothy 3:13)

March 10 was National Abortion Provider Appreciation Day. Yes, a special day to celebrate the work done by our friendly neighborhood abortionists - in the United States.

The Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice (RCRC), which enjoys official, unqualified endorsements from a collection of liberal Protestant, Jewish, Unitarian Universalist, and atheist/humanist groups, marked the holiday by e-mailing supporters a statement entitled,“The Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice Thanks and Blesses Abortion Providers.”

According to this church-endorsed, atheist-funded interfaith group, religious leaders should celebrate the “holy work” (which has claimed the lives of over 55 million American babies since 1973), by thanking, blessing, and offering prayers of gratitude for the work of “abortion providers around the world.”

Can you believe it! ?

APR 8/13.  Shanghai just can’t catch a break – first it was floating dead pigs, then ducks, then black swans, then mass chicken exterminations, and now fish.

From the Telegraph “Just weeks after over 16,000 putrefying pigs were pulled from Shanghai’s Huangpu River, more than 250kg of dead carp had to be retrieved from a river in the city’s Songjiang district. Mystery still surrounds the cause of death, but numerous explanations have surfaced in the Chinese media since residents first complained about the foul-smelling fish last Monday. Theories reportedly include climate change, electrocution, an explosion, or even a drug overdose.

Now we find out, even though it is being under-reported, that deaths of different species of animals continue unabated. It gives a person pause to try and understand what is happening, as this is not normal in any sense of the word. Lame stream media has tried to spin this as caused by electrical storms, fireworks going off, or environmental changes due to "climate change." Then others dismiss it as a normal occurrence that has happened before and that this has been seen in the past? Oh, really?

We see the latest report of thousands of seal pups washing up on California's coastline and we have not a clue why this is happening. If it's a natural occurrence in regard to these animals dying, then why is it just one species that is affected in several cases?

Remember the black birds by the thousands falling out of the sky in Arkansas, or drum fish by the hundreds of thousands washing up on the banks of an Arkansas river not even a hundred miles away? Why does it not affect the other fish, if it's natural? Why not other birds in the area, if it's a natural occurrence or environmental?

How about the recent past news of 200 head of cattle suddenly dying in Wisconsin? The whole herd was found dead. Can't explain it in the natural? Neither can I, and it is making some people very apprehensive about what could be the cause, and what is ahead.

This phenomenon keeps happening all over the globe, as suddenly, aquatic life is washed up onto our shores or beasts are found dead in fields or birds fall from the sky. If you think this is news from the past, read the latest online at this web address: /

Is it not a foretaste of the second bowl of wrath in the Great Tribulation.

                FOOD SUPPLIES

APR 12/13.  An international team of researchers has warned that a destructive wheat disease could threaten global food security and is calling for a doubling in funding to develop disease-resistant varieties.

Wheat stem rust - also known as UG99 - is an aggressive fungus and one of the most destructive wheat diseases. It was first found in Uganda, but has spread through the Middle East, destroying wheat crops.

CSIRO scientist Darren Kriticos - who authored a report about how to keep ahead of the disease - says the wheat industry has been protected so far by developing resistant varieties.

He says wheat stem rust is a global problem and unless there is a long-term plan, wheat-producing countries - including Australia - will be at risk.

"It's headed for Australia. It's not a matter of if it gets to Australia, it's a matter of when," he said. "So it's imperative for Australia's wheat production and wheat production security to ensure that we have varieties of wheat that are resistant."

“When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, 'Come and see.' And I looked and saw a black horse; and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, 'A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius.” (Revelation 6:5-6).    (A denarius was the equivalent of a day's wage.)

On April 5, 2013, the internationally-known Pre-Millennial prophecy preacher and writer, Dave Hunt, was called home by his Master. His beloved wife Ruth was at his side when he drew his final breath and entered into the Presence of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Dave’s health had deteriorated over the last couple of years.

David Hunt was a thorough researcher, and was well-known by his books, including, Global Peace and the Rise of Antichrist, The Seduction of Christianity, The God Makers, Whatever Happened to Heaven?, What Love is This?, and, A Woman Rides the Beast.

May the LORD raise up 100 new thorough and faithful preachers around the world to replace him.

Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio's decision to choose the name of Francis as pope has profound significance to Muslims regarding Muslim/Christian relations. The Christian Saint Francis of Assisi is remembered by Muslims (who know their history), as a holy man, perhaps the only one (since Jesus) who is recognized by Christians and Muslims alike.

In fact, as much as Muslims have saints in the first place, Saint Francis could be considered one of their saints too In an early statement, the new pope said he wants to have dialogue with other religions, particularly Islam.

IF YOU COULD TELEPHONE TO HEAVEN,

and ask how to be saved,

you would receive the  same answer the Bible gives.

"What must I do to be saved?

Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ,

and you will be saved." (Acts 16:31)

Our good works and efforts will never save us!

"By the works of the Law no person will be justified in His (God's) sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin." (Romans 3:20).

It's "not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us." (Titus 3:5)

Every one of us is unclean because of our sin.

We need forgiveness, cleansing, and the eternal life that only God gives.

"For all of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous deeds are like filthy rags."  (Isaiah 64:6)

"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in the Messiah, Jesus our Master."   (Romans 6:23)

Man can by no means save himself; that’s why God sent His one and only eternal Son to die as a substitute to pay the penalty of our sins. Jesus is the Saviour we need. If man could have achieved righteousness in some other way, then obviously the Saviour need not have died.

"God commends His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us ... For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”  (Romans 5:8;  John 3:16)

“For God made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; in order that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him  ...  The LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all."  (2 Corinthians 5:21;  Isaiah 53:6)

When Y’shua, (the Lord Jesus) died at Calvary and rose again on the third day, He finished the work that was necessary to reconcile us to God. Now all that He requires is that we should acknowledge our need of Him, turn to Him, and receive Him as our personal Saviour.

"To all who have received Him, to those who believe in His Name, He has given the right to become children of God." (John 1:12)

To "receive Him" means to believe and trust in Jesus Christ, who alone is the Saviour, for salvation.

"He who believes (trusts) in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him." (John 3:36)

"For by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God - not as a result of our works, lest anyone should boast."               (Ephesians 2:8-9)

To summarize; man is a sinner and cannot reach Heaven by his good works, by good character, personal effort, or merit of any kind. His only hope for salvation rests upon the finished work of Christ upon Calvary's cross.

So, when the sinner believes and trusts in the Saviour, his sins are forgiven, he receives the gift of eternal life, he is saved, and he is bound for the Promised Land - Heaven. God then gives him the assurance that he is "in Christ," that he is a child of God, and has eternal life.

If you are not saved already, dear reader, then what you need to do to be saved is to simply pray to the Heavenly Father, and deliberately put your faith in the Lord Jesus; that is, receive Him as your personal Saviour. Why don’t you do that today, while His arms are outstretched to receive you?  Here is a simple prayer that may help you to take this step.

Heavenly Father, I come to You just as I am, a sinner needing Your salvation.  I come in the Name of the Lord Jesus who died to pay the penalty of my sins, and rose again - the living Saviour. By Your grace, I now receive Him as my personal Saviour. I will own Him as my Saviour from this day on.  Please make me a new person, and lead me as Your child, in the true way of Jesus Christ. Thank You dear Father. Thank You.  Amen.
