There will be WAR until the end,

and desolations have been decreed!

Friends, let us know the times and seasons! We are near the end of this present age, and wars are decreed!

The Almighty Himself has charged the nations to . . .

Prepare for war!” (Joel 3:9)

Now we know that Yahweh, the Sovereign Ruler of the Universe, is not a war-monger. He loves the world deeply! But as the nations have rejected His sovereignty, and have refused to heed His pleadings for them to return to His precepts and care, He lovingly says … “Do I have any pleasure in the death of the wicked, rather than that he should turn from his ways and live?”  (Ezekiel 18:23).

The Heavenly Master then takes issue and says; “Look! I will not always strive and contend with you; if you refuse My grace, then you will bring wars and judgments upon yourselves.”

Y’shua (Jesus) the Messiah has declared:

“When you hear of wars and rumours of wars, do not be frightened; those things must take place; but that is not yet the end. For nation will rise up against nation and kingdom against kingdom.” (Mark 13:7-8)

Today, war talk and war preparations are dominating the air waves, and the doomsday clock is getting close to midnight.  The big question is, “When will Israel and/or the United States and Europe attack Iran?”

The present situation where we have constant radical rhetoric from Iran’s radical leaders calling for Israel, the United States and other nations to be wiped out, is very much like the heated environment and rhetoric of Adolph Hitler in the 1930s. It took a world war to bring his evil agenda to an end.

An attack on the well-equipped Shia regime would, of course, bring very serious consequences for the whole world. So President Obama, for one, wants to give more time for increased sanctions against Iran to work.

Now while many reports anticipate an imminent war, the possibility is that the Iranian nuclear issue may be kept brewing until the time is ripe for the prophesied world war of Ezekiel 38 & 39; Daniel 11: 41-45; Zechariah 12:2-4; Joel 3:9-17; Revelation 6:4-8.

Scripture is clear that Iran (Persia) will be a part of the Russian-led Northern Confederation that will come down against Israel early in the Tribulation.  So Iran is not going to be bombed back into the 19th century before that war.

There could be a limited war against Iran that would set back its nuclear program for a couple of years.  But even a “limited war” could unleash conflicts throughout the Middle East, and particularly multi-pronged missile attacks on Israel from Iran’s surrogates, Hizb’ollah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and other Palestinian terrorist organisations. The fury of Israel would in turn be released against the Arab nations around, fulfilling (at least partially) the prophecy in Zechariah 12:6:

“In that day I will make the leaders of Judah like a burning pot in a woodpile, and like a flaming torch among sheaves. They will consume on the right hand and on the left all the surrounding peoples; and Jerusalem will be inhabited again on her own sites - in Jerusalem.”

At present the civil war in Syria could become a catalyst that could also set the Middle East on fire and also lead to Zechariah 12:6.

Well, “anything” could happen in the months ahead. But one thing is sure — there will be wars and more wars ahead in these last days. So let’s be on the alert, be wise, redeeming the time, and keeping in close fellowship with the Master.

Some of my readers will be well acquainted with the current events; others may have missed out on the details, and need to catch up. So let us look at what’s going on.

It has been reported, President Obama has given Benyamin Netanyahu assurances that he would supply him with war materials including super bunker-busters, provided Israel holds back from attacking Iran until after the US presidential election in November.

Implicit in Obama’s assurances is the threat that if Israel attacks Iran and upsets Obama’s election prospects, Israel can expect “consequences” if Obama is re-elected.

Caroline Glick has commented: “The reason this matter is important is because it tells us the true nature of Obama's demand that Israel give more time for sanctions and diplomacy to work. When one recognizes Israel's short timeline for attacking, one realizes that when Obama demands that Israel give several more months for sanctions to work, what he is actually demanding is for Israel to place its survival in his hands. Again, once Iran's nuclear project is immune from an Israeli strike, Obama will effectively hold the key to Israel's survival. Israel will be completely at his mercy.”

Another source says: “Any understanding with Washington won’t prevent Israel from launching an independent strike if Iran’s nuclear weapons development speeds up dramatically in the next few months.”

As reported in Joel C. Rosenberg’s blog:

All the signs, to me, look like Israel is going to war with Iran, and soon. Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu strikes me as a man who has made his peace with the task ahead of him, a man who now believes his nation is capable of winning a war with Iran and has made all of the preparations necessary to strike if need be. I’m not saying he’s made a final decision. But he’s talking like a leader ready to make that final decision in the not too distant future.

I believe his trip to Washington was part of Netanyahu’s process of making a final assessment of whether the Obama administration will truly back Israel, as the President promises, or whether Israel will be completely isolated. While the White House is clearly pressuring Israel not to strike, Congress seems ready to fully support Israel.

Netanyahu addressed the Joint Session of Congress. His goal was to seek 100% support from Congress and the American people — diplomatically, financially and with resupplied weapons, if not full military support – if Israel has no other choice but to launch massive pre-emptive strikes against Iran to defend the Jewish state from another Holocaust.

The PM’s message to Congress was expected to be similar to the address he gave earlier to the AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee) conference, and to President Obama in the Oval Office - a clear, powerful and sobering message: When it comes to stopping Iran from getting the Bomb, he said, “none of us can afford to wait any longer.” Translation: buckle up, it’s about to be a very bumpy ride in the Middle East.

Netanyahu told thousands of supporters of Israel; “For fifteen years, I’ve been warning that a nuclear-armed Iran is a grave danger to my country and to the peace and security of the entire world. For the last decade, the international community has tried diplomacy. It hasn’t worked. For six years, the international community has applied sanctions. That hasn’t worked either.

“I appreciate President Obama’s recent efforts to impose even tougher sanctions against Iran. These sanctions are hurting Iran’s economy, but unfortunately, Iran’s nuclear program continues to march forward. Israel has waited patiently for the international community to resolve this issue. We’ve waited for diplomacy to work. We’ve waited for sanctions to work. None of us can afford to wait much longer. As Prime Minister of Israel, I will never let my people live in the shadow of annihilation.”

“Some commentators would have you believe that stopping Iran from getting the bomb is more dangerous than letting Iran have the bomb,” Netanyahu continued.

“They say that a military confrontation with Iran would undermine the efforts already underway; that it would be ineffective; and that it would provoke an even more vindictive response by Iran. I’ve heard these arguments before. In fact, I’ve read them before — In my desk, I have copies of an exchange of letters between the World Jewish Congress and the United States War Department. Here are the letters [holding copies up for the audience to see]:

“The year was 1944. The World Jewish Congress implored the American government to bomb Auschwitz. The reply came five days later. I want to read it to you. ‘Such an operation could be executed only by diverting considerable air support essential to the success of our forces elsewhere … and in any case, it would be of such doubtful efficacy that it would not warrant the use of our resources.’

“And, my friends, here’s the most remarkable sentence of all, and I quote: ‘Such an effort might provoke even more vindictive action by the Germans.’ Think about that – ‘even more vindictive action’ — than the Holocaust.

“My friends, 2012 is not 1944. The American government today is different. You heard it in President Obama’s speech yesterday. But here’s my point: The Jewish people are also different. Today we have a state of our own. And the purpose of the Jewish state is to defend Jewish lives and to secure the Jewish future. Never again will we not be masters of the fate of our very survival. Never again. That is why Israel must always have the ability to defend itself, by itself, against any threat.”

What I appreciated most about the speech was Mr Netanyahu drawing the audience’s attention to the Biblical story of the Jewish Queen Esther, whose

prayers and fasting moved the Lord to intervene to save the Jewish people from a Persian tyrant in ages past.

“This week, we will read how one woman changed Jewish history,” he explained. “In Synagogues throughout the world, the Jewish people will celebrate the festival of Purim. We will read how some 2,500 years ago, a Persian anti-Semite tried to annihilate the Jewish people. And we will read how that plot was foiled by one courageous woman – Esther. In every generation, there are those who wish to destroy the Jewish people. In this generation, we are blessed to live in an age when there is a Jewish state capable of defending the Jewish people. And we are doubly blessed to have so many friends like you, Jews and non-Jews alike, who love the State of Israel and support its right to defend itself. So as I leave you tonight I thank you for your friendship. Thank you for your courage. Thank you for standing up for the one and only Jewish state.”

Earlier in the day, Mr Netanyahu gave a decorated copy of an Esther scroll as a gift to President Obama during their Oval Office meeting, and discussed the significance of the story with the President. What is not clear is whether the Prime Minister explained the ending of the story:

Yes, Esther did her part, praying, fasting and intervening before the Persian king on behalf of the Jewish people. And yes, the LORD did His part in changing Ahasuerus’ heart, and putting the evil Haman on the gallows, and dramatically changing the dynamic in favour of the Jews. But it must be remembered that in the end, the Jewish people did have to fight against the Persian forces hell bent on their destruction, and with the LORD’s help, the Jews miraculously prevailed.

“The king granted the Jews who were in each and every city the right to assemble and to defend their lives, to destroy, to kill and to annihilate the entire army of any people or province which might attack them…..The Jews assembled in their cities throughout all the provinces of King Ahasuerus to lay hands on those who sought their harm; and no one could stand before them, for the dread of them had fallen on all the peoples.”

                                                                                                      (Esther 8:11 and 9:2)

Netanyahu’s decision to give the scroll to the President further reveals the PM’s growing interest in the Bible and his desire to make the Scriptures part of his Oval Office discussion. You may recall that a few months ago, Mr Netanyahu announced that he was starting a Bible study in his personal residence.

Please pray especially for Mr Netanyahu and his advisors, that they would be like the sons of Issachar, “men who understood the times and knew what Israel should do.”

(I Chronicles 12:32).     -

MAR 6/12. Israel PM Binyamin Netanyahu brought 14,000 pro-Israel lobby cheering delegates to their feet repeatedly - especially when he pledged on March 5, “Never again will our people have to live in the shadow of annihilation.”

Earlier, he and US President Barack Obama took a break from rhetoric and used a brief private interlude during their three-hour long meeting attended by advisers to get down to brass tacks in their argument over how and when to arrest Iran’s race for a nuclear weapon. Debkafile’s Washington sources disclose a couple of their comments.

While publicly reiterating that there is still a window that allows for a diplomatic resolution of the issue, Obama admitted privately to Netanyahu that the Fordow underground uranium enrichment plant can no longer be destroyed by bombs and missiles; American commanders say all that can be done is to block the vents of this underground facility and slowly stifle the personnel inside. Time and several strikes would be needed to accomplish this.

Netanyahu said, “Iran is building not one Fordow, but ten. We can’t wait much longer.”

Obama said: “There is no intelligence that Iran has made a final decision to pursue a nuclear weapon.”

debkafile’s Washington source denied media reports that Netanyahu had assured the president that Israel has not yet decided to attack Iran’s nuclear sites, meaning he had offered the president the time he wanted for diplomacy and sanctions to work. Our sources report, to the contrary, that he insisted Israel is operating on a shorter timeline than the US.

In his speech to the AIPAC, Netanyahu set the record straight by declaring Israel can’t afford to wait much longer” and lauded the president for affirming Israel was entitled to “defend itself, by itself.”

How much is “much longer” is the subject of debate, but one thing is clear: Israel won’t wait beyond 2012 or until after the US presidential election in November.

Netanyahu’s visit to Washington did not resolve Israel’s differences with the Obama administration about, if, when, and by whom, military force should be applied to shutting down a nuclear Iran. –

The veteran journalist of Washington Post, Charles Krauthammer, wrote in early March, “Stopping Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon is more important than President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign.”

Krauthammer also revealed that a senior administration official told the newspaper, "We're trying to make the decision to attack, as hard as possible for Israel.”

The journalist accused President Obama of cheering for Israel at last week’s American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) conference and then stepping an about-face by agreeing “to yet another round of talks with the mullahs” of Iran, despite previous “blatant Iranian stalling and un-seriousness” on the part of the Ahmadinejad regime.

Krauthammer directly accused President Obama of putting his own campaign for re-election ahead of Israel's security. “Obama wants to get past Nov. 6 without any untoward action that might threaten his re-election,” he wrote.

Negotiations between the UN nuclear watchdog IAEA and Iran so far have taken on the aspect of a charade, with Tehran speeding up its work to enrich uranium, a key ingredient for a nuclear weapon, at the same time it “talks about talking.”

“These negotiations don't just gain time for a nuclear program about whose military intent the IAEA is issuing alarming warnings,” according to Krauthammer. “They make it extremely difficult for Israel to do anything about it (while it still can), lest Israel be universally condemned for having aborted a diplomatic solution.”

As for talks and economic sanctions, he stated, “Holding talks is not success. Imposing sanctions is not success."

Krauthammer commented, President Obama told AIPAC, “Iran's leaders should have no doubt about the resolve of the United States. And then he pursues policies — open-ended negotiations, deceptive promises of tough US backing for Israel, boasts about the efficacy of sanctions, grave warnings about ‘war talk’ — meant, as his own official admitted, to stop Israel from exercising precisely that sovereign right to self-protection…

“A fair-minded observer might judge that Israel's desire to not go gently into the darkness, carries higher moral urgency than the political future of one man, even if he is President of the United States.”

MAR 19/12. Israel's Defence Minister, Ehud Barak, reiterated Israeli assessments that Iran's nuclear program is on the verge of becoming immune to disruptions by a possible military strike.

Iran's nuclear program, he said, "is steadily approaching maturation and is verging on a “zone of immunity” - a position from which the Iranian regime could complete its program without effective disruption, at its convenience."

Barak sent jitters through the world two months ago, when he first coined the "zone of immunity" phrase - a reference to Iran's movement of sensitive nuclear operations deep underground in heavily fortified bunkers, in an effort to compromise any military strike.

Israel doesn't want Tehran to reach the point where it is technologically capable of building a bomb - a point it estimates is just months away.

The remarks are likely to fuel already rampant speculation that Israel is preparing for a strike before Iran moves most of its nuclear facilities underground and beyond the reach of a precision attack.

Earlier this month, PM Netanyahu said Israel hasn't yet decided whether to attack, but senior officials who advocate a pre-emptive strike say Israel, with relatively limited firepower, would have to strike by summer to be effective.    -

MAR 6/12. The morning after Binyamin Netanyahu pledged before the AIPAC convention that he would head off the threat of Israel’s annihilation by a nuclear Iran, the European Union’s Catherine Ashton suddenly jumped up with a proposition to Tehran to resume the long-stalled nuclear negotiations with the world powers.  She made her offer on behalf of China, France, Germany, the Russian Federation, the UK and the US.

Playing the same game, Tehran signalled its willingness to let international inspectors visit the military base of Parchin where nuclear explosive tests are strongly suspected of taking place.

After these announcements, Tehran muddied the issue by saying:

“Considering the fact that it is a military site, granting access is a time-consuming process and cannot be permitted repeatedly. Nevertheless it would be allowed after the International Atomic Energy Agency submits paperwork about related issues.”

On March 5, IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano declined to spell out the suspicion that the Iranians needed time to remove nuclear evidence from Parchin. "But I can tell you,” he said, “that we are aware that there are some activities at Parchin and it makes us believe that going there sooner is better than later."

In the past this military base was used for the secret testing of nuclear explosives and warhead triggers.

Our Washington sources add that US intelligence certainly knew what was going on there. So did President Obama, when he addressed the AIPAC convention and promised to “prevent, not just contain” Irans acquisition of a nuclear weapon. And so did Netanyahu, when he met the president at the White House. Yet Parchin did not come up on any of those occasions.

The prime minister knew there was no point because Obama was already firmly set on engaging Iran in nuclear diplomacy with the Six Powers – probably in Istanbul next month as Tehran had proposed – irrespective of any other considerations.

Netanyahu spoke from this knowledge when he declared “Israel must be master of its fate” and, “The pressure (on Iran) is growing but time is growing short.”

He made it clear that he has no faith in the diplomatic option achieving anything. As in the past, Tehran would apply “bazaar bargaining tactics” to duck, procrastinate and haggle, while using the talks as a safe cover for continuing with impunity the very processes under discussion.

Yet a few hours after the Obama-Netanyahu impasse, Washington and Tehran whipped out the diplomacy ploy to cut short Israel’s military plans.

It was assumed that Israel would not risk attacking Iran while it was locked in international negotiations. But Netanyahu has always resisted making this promise. Israel may therefore see its chance when the diplomatic process inevitably hits bumps in the road and stalls.

US Secretary of Defence Leon Panetta echoed Obama when he spoke before the AIPAC conference. He vowed that the US would take military action to prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon if diplomacy failed. "Military action is the last alternative when all else fails," he told the pro-Israel lobbying group. "But make no mistake, we will act if we have to."

There is no guarantee that Iran won’t already be armed with a nuclear weapon by the time Obama gets around to determining that diplomacy has failed.  - DEBKAfile

The US may use a new 13,600-kilogram bunker-buster bomb against Iran, according to which quoted U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen. Herbert Carlisle.

"The massive ordnance penetrator is a great weapon. We are continuing to improve that. It has great capability now and we are continuing to make it better,” Carlisle said. “It is part of our arsenal and it will be a potential if we need it in that kind of scenario.”

Carlisle said that the bomb was "a great weapon," specially designed to attack countries like Iran which have their nuclear facilities buried underground.

He said the 13,600-kilogram weapon is able to smash through a 200-feet (65 meters) concrete bunker.   – Pentagon Official  -

Israel has developed an improved precision, bunker-burrowing weapon which Israeli Military Industries (IMI) unveiled on March 6. The 500-pound MPR-500 is a laser-guided bomb that can penetrate double-reinforced concrete walls or floors without breaking apart.

The bomb was shown in action penetrating four reinforced concrete walls with fragmentation from the explosion limited to a radius of less than three meters.

The new weapon is designed as an upgrade for the US Mk82 in Israel Air Force stocks. “The lethality, precision, and relatively low weight of the new weapon, enable its use against multiple targets in a single pass.”

After blowing the first hole in the targeted underground site, the next bombs continue to extend and deepen it.

The Israeli Air Force is also reported to be planning to enlarge its Boeing-707 based aerial refuelling tanker fleet, another key component in Israel’s ability to carry out an aerial strike against a target as distant as Iran. The expanded tanker fleet, by providing nearly 2 million pounds of fuel, would allow dozens of Israel F-15 and F-16 warplanes to carry more weapons on this mission.  -

Belgium’s Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT), which handles most international bank transfers, has eliminated Iran from its services.

The move is a “direct result of international and multilateral action to intensify financial sanctions against Iran," said SWIFT CEO Lazaro Campos. The embargo reduces Iran’s ability to use a secure network to receive payments. It also will affect Iranians wanting to receive money from relatives outside the country.

SWIFT’s decision is the harshest sanction placed on Iran in efforts to force the Islamic Republic to cooperate with UN nuclear inspectors and open up its nuclear facilities for surveillance to make sure it is not trying to build a nuclear weapon. The Western sanctions against companies dealing with Iran has not spread to China and India, but the SWIFT sanctions will make it harder for them to pay Iran, which has resorted to a barter system for some purchases.

MAR 18/12. Israel’s Finance Minister, Yuval Steinitz, said that SWIFT's decision to halt Iran's ability to use its electronic fund transfer system to make international transfers constitutes a tremendous blow that could potentially lead to the collapse of the Iranian economy. - Jerusalem Post

MAR 18/12. Ali Falahian, Iran’s senior spokesman on sanctions, said that if the US and Europe think they can ignore international law to promote their interests,

they should know that Iran will respond in kind everywhere it can “I suggest that the West take seriously our threat to close the Strait of Hormuz,” he said as Tehran’s response to the SWIFT decision to sever ties with Iranian banks to enforce European sanctions on its nuclear program.

Economists have said that closing the sea channel to the Persian Gulf could result in the doubling of the price of oil and cause an international recession.

But two factors will work against a blockade: American officials have said they could remove the blockade in a matter of weeks; and Saudi Arabia has declared it will pump more oil to make up for any loss in oil supply resulting from a blockade.

A large fleet of four US and French nuclear aircraft carriers, and a dozen or more minesweepers and mine-hunting helicopters are stationed on both sides of the Strait of Hormuz, through which 17% of the world’s daily oil supply passes. Israeli naval vessels also have deployed in the Red Sea.

Tehran may make good on its threats by trying to drop sea mines in the strategic strait and/or the approaches to the huge Saudi Ras Tanura oil export terminal.

The SWIFT cut-off of ties with Iranian banks has gone a long way toward isolating Iran from global commerce. It will affect Iranian oil sales to its biggest customers in the Far East, China and Japan, as well as India.

It is estimated in Washington and European capitals that the economic noose tightening around its neck is bound to produce a response from Iran. The US-led European sanctions on Iranian oil world trade were boosted in recent weeks by the United Arab Emirates which stopped handling Iranian rials, further reducing its ability to trade and obtain hard currency.

After its foremost ally, Bashar Assad, proved his ability to survive - largely with abundant Iranian help - Tehran is unlikely to let this achievement be marred by a US and European economic stranglehold.

The vast naval build-up of powerful warships confirms that the United States, Europe and Israel are braced for harsh Iranian retaliation across more than one part of the Middle East because of the crippling sanctions now taking hold.

MAR 15/12.  A senior Iranian commander called for the destruction, not just of Israel but of the United States of America as well. “As long as America exists, we will not rest,” said Brig. Gen. Mohammad Reza Naqdi, head of the Basij paramilitary force.

“In revealing the truth about America and the Zionists, we must raise public hate against the despotic powers and create the environment for the destruction of America,” he said.

MAR 15/12.  Reuter reports that vessels carrying at least 360,000 tonnes of grain are lined up to unload in Iran, a sign that Tehran is succeeding in stockpiling food to blunt the impact of tougher Western sanctions.

Iran has been shopping for wheat at a frantic pace, ordering a large part of its expected yearly requirement in a little over one month and paying a premium in non-dollar currencies to work around toughened Western sanctions and avoid social unrest.  Iran bought around 2 million tonnes of wheat over past couple of months.

MAR 5/12. Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has strengthened his control over the country's fractious ruling hardliners after loyalists won more than 75% of the seats in parliamentary elections at the expense of his president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Overall, the 290-seat parliament, known as the Majlis, is set to be virtually entirely conservative, with the previous 60 reformist MPs pared down to a bare handful.

All candidates were screened for their loyalty to the Islamic establishment by an unelected, hardline vetting body of clerics and jurists controlled by Ayatollah Khamenei.

The widespread rout of Ahmadinejad’s  supporters could consign him to a lame-duck status for his 18 remaining months in office, but the combative and irrepressible Ahmadinejad is likely to strenuously buck attempts to curtail his power. Even so, the outcome of the election will likely frustrate his hopes of priming an ally to succeed him in next year's presidential election.

That will be a relief for Ayatollah Khamenei, who wants a pliant president after his bruising experience with Mr Ahmadinejad, whom he once championed.

"It appears that the era of  'Ahmadinejadism' in Iran's political history is gradually coming to an end," said a prominent, Tehran-based political analyst. But another expert said: "Ahmadinejad's camp has not been demolished. We have to wait and see what happens after the new parliament convenes in June."

Israeli President Shimon Peres has warned that a written peace agreement on Jerusalem will cause a world war. He stated that there is at present a de facto peace in Jerusalem where people pray, live and work together peacefully, but putting that into writing could cause a world war to break out.

The former Chief of Staff for the IDF, Shaul Mofaz, likewise, says that the prospects of war is inevitable if through diplomatic moves, the UN declares a Palestinian state based on its own unilateral definition of its borders. This also would cause a major conflict in the region.

As world leaders work at bringing resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict through the peace process, the whole process seems to be moving closer by the day to a major conflict breaking out in the region.

Indeed, the Biblical-prophetic scenario is that Jerusalem will be the centre of world war, with ALL nations involved.  Yahweh the LORD says:

"Watch! For in those days and at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, I will gather all the nations, and bring them down to the valley of Y'hoshaphat. There I will enter into judgment against them on behalf of My people and My inheritance, Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; and they have divided up My land."  (Joel 3:1-3)

"I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that causes reeling to all the people around. Judah will be besieged as well as Jerusalem. On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem a very heavy rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will be severely injured.” (Zechariah 12:2-3)

MAR 9-12/2012.  Residents living in southern Israel have been subjected to a dramatic surge of rocket and mortar attacks.  "Palestinians from northern Gaza fired rockets at Beersheba, Ashdod and Gan Yavne as the red alert was sounded across Israel's southern cities," reports Ynet News.

A rocket slammed into a residential neighbourhood in Beersheba, striking the courtyard of an empty school in Beersheba. Another rocket damaged 15 houses. At least eight Israelis have been wounded, some seriously.

A police officer said that if one of the missiles had exploded a few feet to the right or left of its impact site in a residential area, it would have directly hit apartments.

As Israelis seek shelter in bomb shelters and the world is largely silent as rockets rain down on innocent Israeli civilians, Prime Minister Netanyahu has declared that the current assault on Israel is being triggered by Iran.

Israeli schools in the south have been closed, keeping more than 200,000 school children at home. One million Israelis in southern Israel have been ordered to stay in rocket-proof rooms.

The Iranian-backed Islamic Jihad has been responsible for many of the more than 200 recent rocket attacks.

The Israeli Air Force responded by bombing Hamas rocket launchers and weapons warehouses, and it eliminated four top terror leaders. At least 25 Palestinians in Gaza have been killed in strikes during the first four days of conflict, while at least 75 people have been wounded.

The Israel Air Force launched a strike on Palestinian targets in Gaza, killing the leader of the Popular Resistance Committees, the organization that captured former captive, IDF soldier Gilad Shalit. The IDF Spokesman said in a statement that the attack targeted Zuhir al-Qaisi, the secretary-general of the Popular Resistance Committees, and his collaborator, Mahmoud Hanani.

Israel is on alert against possible attack from Egypt as Netanyahu vows to strike Gaza terrorists. The Prime Minister said Israel has dealt a strong blow to the terrorist groups  in the Gaza Strip. And air assaults against Gaza will go on as long as necessary.

IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz reassured Israel that it “will continue to retaliate with force and sensitivity against any firing directed at Israel. Hamas and other terror groups continue to gain strength at an alarming rate. We do not seek escalation, but Hamas controls Gaza."

The Iron Dome anti-missile system foiled 90% of the missiles fired from Gaza. These are the highest success rates for the defence system to date. IDF chief, Benny Gantz, praised the IDF officials in charge of operating the system during the situation assessment.

"The Iron Dome has successfully intercepted 25 out of 27 rockets fired at Beersheba, Ashdod and Ashkelon. Two other rockets exploded in open fields between Beersheba and Ashkelon ...

The system also intercepted two rockets aimed at the port city of Ashkelon, home to key oil and gas pipelines and a huge electricity generation station.

It also intercepted a missile aimed at the port city of Ashdod, several miles north of Ashkelon and near the southern edge of metropolitan Tel Aviv. The system is able to differentiate between destinations of missiles and does not intercept those that will hit open fields.

Hamas called for a ceasefire but attacked Israel with at least six more rockets and missiles the next day. Hamas has broken dozens of ceasefires since it officially took control of Gaza after a bloody military coup nearly five years ago that ousted the rival Fatah movement, headed by Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas.

Jordan slammed Israel's 'barbaric' strikes on Gaza; Turkey condemned Israeli strikes in Gaza; and Iran called Israel's Gaza raids 'war crimes.'

Israel has ruled out for now, a ground assault to stop the terrorist missile attacks. But senior military commanders have repeatedly said it is only a matter of time before the IDF sends ground troops into Gaza, where Hamas and other terrorist groups have stockpiled thousands of tons of explosives and advanced weapons, including medium-range rockets and anti-aircraft missiles.

Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman sidestepped questions concerning if and when Israel will send ground troops into Gaza, referring a Voice of Israel government radio interviewer to the Defence Minister.

Likud Knesset Member Gilad Erdan said he is against a ground incursion for the time being.  But Foreign Minister Lieberman emphasized that the coalition agreement calls for toppling the Hamas terrorist organization.

MAR 11/12. Israel has passed a stern warning to the Palestinian Jihad Islami (Islamic Jihad) to expect Israel punishment on a different scale from the current surgical air strikes if they dare fire the Fajr surface missiles supplied to them by Iran. The warning was relayed through Egyptian Intelligence Chief Gen. Murad Muwafi who is working with Washington to halt the Gaza violence.

The Iran-backed Islamic Jihad has in its arsenal Fajr 5 missiles whose range is 110 kilometers and Fajr 3 which has a 60-kilometer reach. They bring into range Israel’s urban, commercial and population hub cities between Tel Aviv and Rehovoth, which are outside the range of the Grads and Qassams, which have been fired from Gaza.

Military sources told debkafile that the Jihad terrorists are aiming to produce a spectacular, multi-fatality strike in a major Israeli city before ending this round of violence in order to strut as victors in Palestinian and Middle East public eyes. This ambition has been frustrated for three days by the Iron Dome system, which has saved important towns like Beersheba and the ports of Ashdod and Ashkelon from casualties and serious damage by intercepting the Grads before they land.    –

The IDF was said to be “impressed” by Islamic Jihad’s ability to fire more than 300 rockets during the main five days of hostilities, even though a significant number of the rockets landed in Gaza itself, and close to 60 were intercepted by the Iron Dome counter-rocket defense system.

IDF sources said that Islamic Jihad was severely beaten and that it would need time to rebuild its capabilities.

The air force bombed more than 40 targets throughout the Gaza Strip over the week, including nearly 20 rocket squads, and several weapons storage centers and underground long-range rocket launchers.  By the eighth day the Gazan’s rockets had almost ceased.

The leader of the Hizb’ollah terror group, Hassan Nasrallah, congratulated the organizations in Gaza for causing a million Israelis to spend days in shelters, as terrorists fired more than 200 rockets into southern Israel.

MAR 15/12. Tehran has begun capitalising on its allies’ two perceived victories: Bashar Assad’s success in seizing Idlib from rebel hands, and the Palestinian Jihad Islami’striumphal” missile assault from Gaza.

The Iranians are now moving forward with plans to match the Palestinian assault on southern Israeli with an offensive on north Israel from Lebanon.

MAR 15/12. Binyamin Netanyahu said Iran is the primary actor responsible for escalations in the Gaza Strip. "Gaza is Iran." Connecting the recent round of violence in Gaza and the Iranian nuclear threat, Netanyahu said he is not prepared to accept a situation in which the country, which backs terrorist groups, becomes a nuclear power.

The Iranian foreign minister, Ali Akbhar Salehi, met with a top Hamas leader Mahmoud Zahar, in Iran, who expressed his full support for the Palestinian cause and condemned the "dastardly atrocities of the Zionist regime. "

Zahar was in Iran, meeting with leaders to gather support following a weekend of military exchanges with Israel, according to the report.

Salehi told Zahar that the recent Israeli air strikes in Gaza were a sign of Israel's weakness. “We are quite confident that the Palestinians will win the struggle,” Salehi said.

MAR 19/12. Iranian military experts are active in the Gaza Strip and in Sinai, according to a high-ranking official in Jerusalem. The official said the Iranians entered the areas via Sudan and Egypt, and added that some of the rocket-launching systems in Gaza were manufactured under Iranian supervision. - Ha'aretz

MAR 14/12. A deepening rift within Hamas has become evident, and Fatah officials have admitted they do not expect Hamas leaders in Gaza to follow through on their end of the Cairo reconciliation deal "anytime soon."

The Hamas politburo agreed to a recent deal in Qatar with PA Mahmoud Abbas to form an interim government of technocrats. However, Hamas leaders in Gaza ambushed politburo chief Khaled Mashaal with a raft of new demands that Fatah will never agree to.

Mashaal has tentatively accepted the notion of a state on the 1967 borders, and offered Abbas a one-year mandate for negotiations with Israel – but his fellow politburo members maintain any agreement with Israel will only serve as a “prelude to war.”

Gaza chief Ismail Haniyeh maintains that all talks with Israel are “futile” and believes the tide of the Arab Spring will lead to victory in the movement’s armed quest to destroy the Jewish state.

Hamas demanded all the key ministries in the new “unity government,” including the ministry of interior, and insisted that no structural changes to Gaza's security forces – staffed by its terror militiamen – should be made.

Hamas leaders in Gaza have blamed the delay in implementing the Abbas-Mashaal deal on Fatah, saying they continue to arrest Hamas members in their enclaves – and they co-operate with Israeli security forces.

A series of simultaneous mass marches to Israel’s borders are being planned in Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Judea and Samaria and the Gaza Strip on March 30. The marches are being held under the Global March to Jerusalem campaign.

The Global March to Jerusalem is an initiative that aims at getting over one million Arabs and their supporters, to attempt to infiltrate Israel’s borders. A spokesman for the march said this week the initiative “demands freedom for Palestine and its capital Jerusalem.”

In addition, the global BDS - Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions campaign - is also planning a so-called “global activity day” of educational events.

March 30 is marked by Israeli Arabs as “Land Day,” held to commemorate the events of that day in 1976, when demonstrations by Israeli Arabs against Israeli government plans to appropriate land turned violent and a number of protesters were killed.

The Israel defence establishment has expressed concern that the marches could turn violent, and has said that Iran’s involvement is additional testimony to the extremist nature of the event.

Last year, dozens of Palestinians from Syria infiltrated into Israel from the Syrian border, injuring 10 Israeli soldiers.

MAR 14/12. Following the announcement that Arabs are planning a Global March to Jerusalem, the Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center (ITIC) has presented information that Iran is behind the initiative and openly supports it.

Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood, Hizb’ollah and the Islamic Jihad are also planning to be involved in the marches.

ITIC recently revealed the exact plans for the march as they were laid out at a conference in Jordan. Now, ITIC is presenting evidence in its possession which indicates that Iran, openly and with its own propaganda, supports the March 30 events, and is also involved in organizational preparations for the marches. To that end, ITIC said in a report, Iran employs proxies, including organizations and individuals.

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has said that Iran should openly support movements and groups operating against Israel.

Support for the marches to Jerusalem was presented as part of a new strategy designed to increase regional unity against Israel, based on the so-called “resistance axis” (i.e., Syria and the terrorist organizations) and opposition to the so-called "occupation" of Jerusalem.

By the time you receive this Alert, you will know the outcome of the March 30 marches.

MAR 10/12. Ten high-ranking military officers from Syria, including four brigadier-generals, have defected and crossed into Turkey to join the Free Syrian Army. The news comes after Syrian government forces pressed on with deadly assaults, killing another 50 civilians.

The official Turkish news agency Anatolia said 10 officers from Damascus, Homs and Latakia crossed the border into Turkey's southern province of Hatay. The Syrian Deputy Oil Minister joined the opposition just one day earlier.

MAR 10/12. The days of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad are numbered with his powerful Army close to collapse, the country's most senior defector has said, calling for an "urgent need for outside intervention."

Giving an insider's view of the state of the regime, General Mustafa al-Sheikh, who has taken refuge in Turkey, said Assad's Army is close to a collapse, but warned that, that could plunge the Middle East into a "nuclear reaction."

In his first interview, the former top Syrian General told The Sunday Telegraph, "The situation is now very dangerous and threatens to explode across the whole region, like a nuclear reaction."

The General's grim picture of the happenings in Syria comes as US media reports said that all top Obama administration officials were now predicting that the Syrian regime's downfall could be near.  –

MAR 17/12. Regime troops stormed and retook IDLIB, a northern town of 150,000 people that for months had been under the control of the Free Syrian Army. 1,000 refugees from Idlib poured into Turkey on a single day.

The recapture of IDLIB has given the Assad regime renewed impetus.

Almost 250,000 Syrians have fled their homes, and nearly 10,000 have been killed during the year-long uprising. The bodies of scores of victims have been found who had been tortured and burned to death. Some   had been blindfolded, handcuffed and shot dead.

Another report says Bashar Assad, encouraged and aided by Iran, Russia and China, has no intentions of going anywhere. And with the US, Europe and Turkey holding back from stronger military action, Assad thinks he is in a winning position.

Now there are grave concerns about the …

MAR 7/12. reports that Barack Obama and Binyamin Netanyahu discussed not only their dispute over an attack on Iran at their White House meeting, but devoted attention to the Syrian crisis, focusing on the hundreds of surface-to-surface missiles armed with chemical and biological warheads possessed by Syria.

The peril of the Assad regime launching these warheads now tops America’s chart of the threats looming over Israel and Turkey.

Obama prevailed upon his Israeli guest to hurry up and patch up relations with Turkey, which he was willing to assist, because it would take a combined US-Turkish-Israeli military effort to ward off an attack by Syria’s poisoned missiles. Indeed, if the Syrian conflict is not solved, America might be forced to turn its missile shield against Bashar Assad’s missiles before they are needed against an Iranian attack.

The hazard could be accelerated by three elements, say American sources:

1. Assad might decide to respond with extreme violence to any foreign military intervention in Syria, even an operation confined only to drawing the civilian population into security zones safe from the attacks of his security services.

(On March 6, Turkish PM Tayyip Erdogan reverted to his call for security zones, and Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman offered humanitarian aid to Syria’s beleaguered civilian population. Both such actions, say the American sources, might well be taken by Assad as provocations deserving of reprisal by missiles – first those carrying chemical warheads, then biological ones.)

2. Assad might respond to an Iranian request to take part in a pre-emptive strike launched by Tehran or Iranian retaliation for attacks on its nuclear facilities by the US or Israel.

3. Assad might transfer his unconventional missiles to Iran’s Lebanese surrogate, the Hizb’ollah - in which case, the US, Turkey and Israel would have no option but to smash them.

Syria’s arsenal is being closely watched by US surveillance drones after the lessons from the Libyan war when at least 5,000 advanced anti-aircraft missiles were spirited out of Qaddafi’s weapons stores, some of them smuggled into Gaza for Hamas and other terrorist organizations.

According to debkafile’s military sources, on March 10, Syrian president Bashar Assad warned visiting UN peace envoy Kofi Annan in no uncertain terms that Syria was ready to unleash its missiles against any country preparing for military intervention in Syria before they moved.

While not mentioning them by name, Assad was referring to Britain, France, Norway, Holland and Italy whose navies and air forces have been drawn up ready for action in positions in the eastern Mediterranean and bases in the Middle East, including the Royal Air Force Akrotiri facility in Cyprus.

A Western military source has reported that those European forces were standing ready to cordon off certain Syrian regions and cities as “security zones” that would be off limits to Syrian units including its air force.

Cruising opposite the Syrian coast are the USS Enterprise and the French Charles de Gaulle, both aircraft carriers. They are part of the combat forces the West has arrayed against Iran, and from their Mediterranean posts, would take part in a military confrontation erupting in the Persian Gulf.

The only foe Assad named specifically as his first target for a pre-emptive missile assault was Turkey. He stressed he would have no qualms about attacking Turkey.

As Turkey is a member of NATO, Syria could be inviting a massive NATO retaliation.

MAR 18/12. reports that Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) have sent at least another 1,000 officers into Syria to help quell the Sunni revolt, over the last two months.

"They are working with the Syrian Army and security forces on all major operations and control the intelligence apparatus," an intelligence source said.

The sources said IRGC was playing a major role in protecting the regime of President Bashar Assad, and had planned the massive assault on Homs and Rastan.  IRGC was facilitating operations, supplying intelligence, selecting units and weapons as well as deploying special forces.

IRGC has also deployed more than 3,000 fighters from the Lebanese-based Hizb'ollah for operations, particularly in south-western Syria. The sources said Hizb’ollah troops were used in combat to avoid charges of direct Iranian intervention in the Assad war on the Sunni rebels.

"Iran is resupplying Syria and is training Syrian units on intelligence, electronic warfare and reconnaissance, particularly in urban warfare. They said IRGC was also recruiting members of Iranian-sponsored Shi'ite militias in Iraq.

IRGC has been in Syria for more than 20 years. But over the last few years, the elite Iranian military, particularly its Quds Force, has undergone significant expansion and was assigned the protection of Syrian missile and weapons of mass destruction facilities. Iran's military presence in Syria is believed to number more than 15,000 personnel.

The grim Syrian situation brings to mind Isaiah’s prophecy:

“The oracle concerning Damascus. Look!  Damascus is about to be removed from being a city, and it will become a heap of ruins ... The fortified city will disappear from Ephraim, and sovereignty from Damascus; the remnant of Aram (Syria) will be like the departed glory of the sons of Israel,’ declares YHWH of Hosts.” (Isaiah 17:1, 3)

MAR 4/12.  Vladimir Putin has declared victory in Russia's presidential elections, and now returns for a third term as President after serving the last 4 years as the country's PM.

Mr Putin told supporters at a rally in central Moscow they had won in an open and honest battle. He received about 60% of the vote. But opposition groups have reported widespread fraud, with many people said to have voted more than once.  They have called for mass protests in central Moscow, against this, “another rigged election.”

Vladimir Putin will now press on with his vision of a "Eurasian Union." In an article last year, he outlined his new foreign policy initiative. Putin said the new union would build on an existing Customs Union with Belarus and Kazakhstan which from 2012 will remove all barriers to trade, capital and labour between the three countries.  "We are not going to stop there; we are setting an ambitious goal -- to achieve an even higher integration level in the Eurasian Union," Putin wrote in Izvestia

Putin’s goal, evidently, is a Russian-led confederation that will include most of the former Soviet Union, but much more.  Maybe Putin has read Ezekiel 38 and discovered that Russia is destined to lead a much greater superpower than the Soviet Union. The new alliance will include all the Turkic peoples from Turkey across to Xinjiang in West China, as well as Iran, Libya, and more.

Mr Putin said: "Only in around 2015 may we approach the realization of the idea of creation of Eurasian Union if we work as energetically as we have been. … We propose creating a powerful supranational union capable of becoming a pole in the modern world, and at the same time an effective bridge between Europe and the dynamic Asia-Pacific Region."

"A Eurasian Union will differ from the EU in that it will be based on Eurasian values, not European ones," says Alexander Dugin, head of the International Eurasian Movement, a group of right-wing businessmen, officials and intellectuals that is thought to have considerable influence in the Kremlin. He says the EU's reliance on liberal economic institutions to hold it together is its fatal flaw, and that Putin will move to cement the economic integration of the Eurasian Union with strong central authority.

MAR 20/12.  Joel Rosenberg muses on the “X Factor” which at the moment is Vladimir Putin. He quotes from “an intriguing New York Times story which explained that for the Kremlin to raise enough money for Putin to keep his lavish campaign promises over the next few years, oil prices would need to average $US 150 a barrel, significantly higher than the current $US 120 a barrel. And one way to drive up oil prices would be to encourage or foment more tensions in the Middle East.

Putin is already moving Russian forces into Syria. He’s also actively preparing to build a new regional political/military/economic alliance - the “Eurasian Union.”

Rosenberg asks: What if Russia then intervenes in the current standoff between Israel and Iran and signs a mutual defence treaty with Iran? What if Putin warns Israel that an attack on Iran would be regarded by the Kremlin as an attack against Russia itself? That alone would throw a monkey wrench into Netanyahu’s plans to neutralize Iran’s nuclear program with a pre-emptive strike. But what if Putin then went to the UN in September and called for a nuclear-free zone in the Middle East? He could persuade Iran to give up its nuclear program.

Then, in a move similar to what President Bush demanded of Iraq in 2003, Putin could demand that Israel disclose, dismantle and discard its weapons of mass destruction within 60 or 90 days, or face an international coalition willing to force Israel to do so. This scenario — or a variation of it — would not only likely halt Israeli plans for a strike on Iran, but could actually set the stage for the fulfillment of the prophecies of Ezekiel 38-39 and the “War of Gog and Magog.”

“The Sovereign Master, YHWH, says: Listen! I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal. I will turn you around, put hooks into your jaws and bring you out with your whole army … Get ready; be prepared, you and all the hordes gathered about you, and take command of them.    After many days you will be summoned; in the latter years you will invade the land that has recovered from the sword, whose people have been gathered from many nations to the mountains of Israel which had long been desolate. Its people had been brought out from the nations, and now all of them are living securely.” (Ezekiel 38:3-4, 7-8)

FEB 27/12.  European Commission chief Jose Manuel Barroso has told the Chinese public that the EU will become a  fully-fledged “political union” after the financial crisis.

Speaking to TV cameras after a meeting with Chinese leader Wen Jiabao in Beijing, Barroso noted the EU has recently suffered mass strikes and protests, including violent clashes in Greece. “It is true that in many of our member states there have been student protests and strikes. This is normal in our open societies where people have a right to protest,” he said.

“I want to make this very clear to Chinese public opinion. Because, I understand, when you see the news you may be asking some questions. Is the European Union really going to progress? I say, ‘Yes. No doubt about it.’ Precisely because of the problems in the euro area the conclusion has been to further integrate and to complete the monetary union with a fiscal union and, I believe, in the future toward a political union.”

The revived Roman Empire of Antichrist is near! Sometime early in the Tribulation this prophecy will be fulfilled:

“The ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but who for one hour will receive authority as kings along with the beast. They will have one purpose and will give their power and authority to the beast. These will go to war against the Lamb.” (Revelation 17:12-14)

EU Council President Herman Van Rompuy highlighted a clause in a joint summit communique which says the EU is willing to “swiftly” give China market economy status — a move that would help it sell more cheap goods to Europe. “It’s the first time we put this kind of agreement with this kind of language after an EU-China summit,” he said.

Europe is China’s largest customer. The EU represents the world’s biggest exporter and importer. According to Bible prophecy, Europe will continue to be the centre of the world.  It is biblically defined with these words:

“Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.” (Daniel 7:23)

The success of Europe is mind-boggling when one considers the fact that only 70 years ago, World War II devastated the continent. While economically as well as financially, the EU has been extremely successful, one thing is lacking: a “political union.” That obviously is only a matter of time. In spite of being the most diverse continent on earth, a political union will and must be achieved.

From Scripture we know that the ultimate end, the climax of this union will produce one leader —  the Antichrist.   - Midnight Call Ministries

MAR 12/12. When you put together everything Americans produce in a year, it adds up to some $16 trillion -- an almost unimaginable amount of money. Now for the first time in its history, the United States owes its creditors that same amount.

The $16 trillion of federal debt is as big as the nation's entire economic output for a year. In other words, if each dollar the US produced for an entire year went to the federal debt, it would just barely pay it off.

Not since the height of World War II, when the debt exceeded 120% of the gross domestic product (GDP), has the nation been this much in the hole.

Fiscal hawk Sen. Marco Rubio, (R-Fla.), sees great danger ahead. "The consequences are grave moving forward," he told CBN News. "Because not only is the debt high, but according to the Congressional Budget Office and all the experts who are looking at it, there's no plan in place to change that any time in the near future. It's debt as far as the eye can see," he said.      -

“The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower becomes the lender's slave.” (Proverbs 22:7)

Do not store up for yourselves treasures  upon earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal; but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”  (Matthew 6:19-21)

MAR 1/12. reported on an environmental report issued by an agency of the UN last month that has some critics sounding the alarm, saying it is a clarion call for "global governance" over how the Earth is managed.

The report, 21 Issues for the 21st Century,” from the UN Environment Program (UNEP) Foresight Process, is the culmination of a two-year deliberative process involving 22 core scientists. It is expected to receive considerable attention in the run-up to the Rio+20 United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development, which will be held in Rio, Brazil, in June.

The scientists who wrote the report say it focuses on identifying emerging issues in the global environment, and that it is not about mandating solutions. But its critics see an agenda lurking in its 60 pages, which call for a complete overhaul of how the world's food and water are created and distributed -- something the report says is “urgently needed” for the human race to keep feeding and hydrating itself safely.

“This is more utopianism, pie-in-the-sky pleading for ‘global governance,’ including what they acknowledge as ‘novel governance arrangements,’ including, ‘alliances between environmentalist and other civil society groups,’” charged Chris Horner, author of Red Hot Lies: How Global Warming Alarmists Use Threats, Fraud and Deception to Keep You Misinformed. He is also a senior fellow for energy and environment at the free-market Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI) in Washington, D.C.

The Foresight Report suggests actions to save humanity from starvation, the overheating planet and the collapse of the world’s oceans -- options that include new “constitutional frameworks,” “international protocols” and a “shared vision” for land and water management that essentially rewire existing treaties and governments.

But the group insists it’s not a call for global governance. “We are not talking about a world government,” said Dr. Oren Young, professor of institutional and international governance and environmental institutions at the University of California at Santa Barbara, and one of the scientists who issued the report. Young said the panel wasn’t tasked with finding all the answers.   Read more>

UN Environmental Constitution for the World

Most people have no idea that the United Nations has been drafting an environmental constitution for the world that is intended to supersede all existing national laws. This document has a working title of "Draft International Covenant on Environment and Development."

Work on this proposed world environmental constitution has been going on since 1995, and the fourth edition was issued to UN member states on September 22nd, 2010.

The document is intended to become a permanent binding treaty and it would establish an incredibly repressive system of global governance.

This "covenant", as it is being called, claims authority over the entire global environment and everything that affects it. Considering the fact that everything that we do affects the environment in some way, that would mean that this document would become the highest form of law for all human activity.

This proposed UN environmental constitution for the world is incredibly detailed. The US Constitution only has 7 articles, but the UN document has 79 articles. If the US eventually ratifies this treaty, any national, state or local laws that conflict with this covenant will be null and void.

This is potentially one of the greatest threats to our national sovereignty that we have ever seen and we need to warn the American people about it.

Essentially what this proposed environmental covenant does is, it takes the sustainable development principles underlying Agenda 21 and turns them into global constitutional law.  For full article> check online:

MAY 26/11. Republican congressman Ron Paul from Texas, stated on his website:

Buried deep within the over 1,000 pages of the massive US health care bill is a non-discussed” section titled - Subtitle C-11 Sec 2521 – National Medical Device Registry - which states its purpose as …. He quotes that part of the law and then goes on to say:  In real world talk, according to this report, this new law, when fully implemented, provides the framework for making the United States the first nation in the world to require each and every citizen to have implanted in them, a radio-frequency identification microchip for the purpose of controlling who is, or isn’t allowed medical care in their country.”

This new law requires an RFID chip implant in all of us. This chip will not only contain your personal information with tracking capability, but it will also be linked to your bank account. And get this, page 004 of the new law (dictating the timing of this chip,) it says: “Not later than 30 months after the date of the enactment.”

By law all Americans will be  required to have an RFID chip underneath their skin, and this chip will be linked to their bank accounts, as well as to personal records, with tracking capability built into it - by March 23, 2013.

“He compels all, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands, or on their foreheads, so that no one should be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name. Here is wisdom; Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for the number is that of a man; and his number is 666.”

(Revelation 13:16-18)

              THE “HOLEY OPTOCHIP!”

MAR 10/12. The high data loads of the future - and even the present - require that optical communications platforms continue to get faster, leaner, and cheaper. At the Optical Fibre Communication Conference in Los Angeles, IBM reported on a prototype optical chip it has developed that has hit a significant milestone in optical data transfer: one terabit - that's one trillion bits - per second.

That's like downloading 500 HD movies at once, a speed matching the bandwidth consumed by 100,000 users at today's average high-speed Web rates.

It's important to note that this a parallel optics chip technology, not a long-range fibre optic serial communications technology, so it's not going to instantaneously boost the speed at which data traverses the oceans. But between computers on a local network this technology could provide some pretty searing speeds.

The chip itself gets its name from the fact that there are 48 tiny holes bored through a standard silicon CMOS chip that connects on the back side with 24 receiver and 24 transmitter channels. These channels allow a whole lot of data to move through the chip in both directions simultaneously, allowing for these terabit-per-second transfer speeds.

                          THE NEED OF THIS HOUR:

                BE READY FOR THE COMING

                OF THE HEAVENLY MASTER!

“Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Master is coming ... Be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not expect Him.” (Matthew 24:42, 44)

“You too be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Master is near ... Look! The Judge is standing right at the door!” (James 5:8-9)

“Be careful how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise, redeeming and making the most of the time - buying up each opportunity, because the days are evil.  So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of YHWH the LORD is. Do not get drunk with wine, for that leads to unrestrained behaviour and wastage. Instead be filled with the Holy Spirit.” (Ephesians 5:15-18)

“Look! I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to everyone according to what he has done.” (Revelation 22:12)

My dear reader, the times are urgent!  The countdown to the Rapture is getting lower every day.  The Rapture (the Catching up) is described in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18:

“For the Master Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. Then the dead in Christ - those who died with faith in the Messiah - shall rise first. Then we, the living believers who remain, will simultaneously be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Master in the air. And so we will be with the Master for ever. Therefore comfort and encourage one another with these words.”

Jesus is coming, though we know not when.

Say, friend, will you be ready? Jesus is coming again.

Then let there be no hesitation.

Trust Him as your Lord and Saviour now without delay!

By His grace and mercy you can be a new creation,

And be ready then to meet Him that day.

Jesus is coming, though we know not when.

Yes, He is coming, Jesus is coming again.

Jesus is coming again!  Jesus is coming again!

Jesus is coming! Jesus is coming! Jesus is coming ... again!

                                                                                                                 -  John W Peterson

To any of my readers who do not know Y’shua, the Lord Jesus, as your personal Saviour, I say, do not hesitate. Trust Him as your Lord and Saviour today!

For several reasons:

1. You need to be saved from your sin and its penalty.

“The wages of sin of death” (Romans 6:23) – spiritual death – total separation from God. That means a lost eternity.

2. Jesus is the Saviour sent by the Heavenly Father. There is no other saviour.

“And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son - the Saviour of the world.” (1 John 4:14)

“And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12)

3. Jesus is the only One who died to pay the penalty of the sins of the world.

“God demonstrates His own love for us, in that while we were still sinners, the Messiah died for us.” (Romans 5:8)

“For there is one God, (YHWH El Shaddai), and one mediator between God and men - the Man, Y'shua the Messiah (Jesus Christ), who gave Himself as a ransom for all men.” (1 Timothy 2:5)

4. Jesus is the Victorious Saviour, for He rose from the dead. He is a living Saviour.

“Now brethren, I again declare to you the Good News which I have already preached to you … that the Messiah died for our sins, according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.” (1 Corinthians 15:1,3,4)

5. Y’shua (Jesus) is the exalted Name above all names. And He is Lord.

“Y'shua, who, although existing in the form of God - being in very nature God, did not regard equality with God something to be grasped, but emptied Himself (of all rightful dignity), taking the form of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself (still further) by becoming obedient to the extreme of death; death on a cross.

Therefore (because He humbled Himself), God exalted Him to the highest place, and gave Him the Name that is above every name, that at the Name of Y'shua every knee will bow - in heaven and on earth and under the earth - and every tongue confess that Y'shua the Messiah is Lord (the Heavenly Master), to the glory of YHWH, God the Father.” (Philippians 2:5-11)

6. Jesus is coming back to take all His true people to the Father’s House in Heaven.

“In My Father's House are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you, for I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, so that you also may be where I am.” (John 14:2-3)

“For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live sensible (self-controlled), upright and godly lives in this present age, awaiting and looking for the blessed hope (confident expectation) - the glorious appearing of our great God and Saviour, Y'shua the Messiah; who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all lawlessness and purify for Himself a people who are uniquely His own; people zealous to do good works.” (Titus 2:11-14)

7. We will all stand before the Messiah, the Son of God, for judgment.

“For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son also gives life to whom He wishes.  For the Father judges no one, but He has given all judgment to the Son, that all may honour the Son even as they honour the Father. He who does not honour the Son does not honour the Father who sent Him.”  (John 5:21-23)

“I saw a great white throne and Him who was seated on it. Earth and heaven fled from His Presence, and there was no place found for them.            And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before the throne of God, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the Book of life; and the dead were judged according to their works as recorded in the books.” (Revelation 20:11-12)

How blessed are those who will stand before the Saviour, knowing that their sins have been dealt with, and that they have eternal life, and shall not perish.

How tragic for those who stand before the Judge of all, having refused the grace and salvation that had been offered to them.

"For YHWH, the Almighty God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten, His one-and-only, unique, Son, so that whoever believes in Him, should not perish, but have eternal (everlasting) life.

“For God did not send the Son into the world to judge and condemn the world; but so that the world might be saved through Him.

“He who believes in Him is not condemned; he who does not believe has been condemned already, because he has not believed in the Name of the only begotten, His one-and-only unique, eternal Son of God.”  (John 3:16-18)

For any reader who has not yet received the forgiveness of their sins, and the salvation of the Lord, I say again, do not hesitate.  The Saviour is waiting to hear your prayer.

Will you express your faith in Jesus and ask Him to be your Saviour today?

The prayer on the next page may help you to express your faith in the Master.  Read the prayer first, and then if this expresses your thoughts, and you are now ready to call on the Lord, pray that prayer sincerely, and simply BELIEVE and TRUST the Almighty to save you today.

LORD JESUS, I come before You today, just as I am, a sinner needing salvation. I have read this message, and I have come to understand that You came from Heaven to save sinners like me.

Confessing my own unworthiness, Lord Jesus, I thank     You for the great sacrifice You made, when You endured the cross, and paid the penalty of my sins.  I believe You are indeed the Messiah, the Saviour, and that You rose from the dead, ascended to Heaven, and are seated on the Eternal Throne.

I believe in You, Master, and I trust You for salvation, for forgiveness and eternal life. I receive You as my Saviour and Master, and by Your grace and strength, I want to live for You from this day on. Thank You for your love and salvation. Make me like You, Master.

Thank You, O God, Heavenly Father, thank You so much for receiving me as Your child. Thank You.

In the Name of Your eternal Son, Jesus my Saviour, I pray.  Amen.
