IRAN GOES NUCLEAR,  MA#47.  September 2010

“The Sovereign Master, YHWH, says: Listen! I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Rosh (Russia), Meshech, and Tubal. I will turn you around, put hooks into your jaws and bring you out with your whole army - your horses and horsemen all fully armed, and a great horde with large and small shields, all of them brandishing swords. Persia (Iran) – and many nations with you.” (Ezekiel 38:3-5)

This has been the BIG story over the past month. Russia helped Iran cross a major threshold on Aug 21, by loading Iran’s first nuclear reactor with fuel. Over the next two weeks, some 80 tons of uranium fuel was moved into the reactor core.

“Despite all the pressures, sanctions and hardships imposed by Western nations, we are now witnessing the start-up of the largest symbol of Iran’s peaceful nuclear activities,” Ali Akbar Salehi, Iran’s nuclear chief told reporters. “I thank the Russian government and nation, which cooperated with the great Iranian nation and registered their name in Islamic Iran’s golden history,” he said. “Today is a historic day and it will be remembered in history.”

Across the world, news of Bushehr’s activation has been met with emotions ranging from apathy to alarm. The indifferent argue that Bushehr’s activation was merely a matter of time, and that the facility will not pose a significant threat because it will be used for the production of nuclear energy for civilian consumption.

(The 1,000-megawatt light water reactor is expected to begin pumping electricity to Iranian cities in two months.)

Some experts maintain the Bushehr plant is not considered a proliferation risk because Russia, which helped build the nuclear plant, has pledged to safeguard the site and prevent spent nuclear fuel -- which could be used to make weapons-grade plutonium -- from being diverted to a possible nuclear weapons program.

But Iran, defying UN sanctions levied against it, has now announced its plans to build 10 new uranium enrichment sites inside protected mountain strong-holds over the next few years.

Many observers are deeply concerned because Bushehr, once fueled and operating, “will produce plutonium 239, which can be used to make nuclear weapons.”

John Bolton, the former U.S. ambassador to the UN, warned that this is a “very, very big victory for Iran. This is a huge threshold.”

The opening of Bushehr, apart from providing a moral and psychological boost to supporters of the nuclear program inside Iran, will be seen as a victory for Iran in its confrontation with America and Europe over its agenda to develop nuclear weapons.

The advancement of the Iranian nuclear program at Bushehr thrusts Mahmoud Ahmadinejad one step closer to achieving his goal of setting off a nuclear Armageddon!

It may now be impossible to stop Iran from building nuclear weapons. With Russian-supplied uranium in its reactors, any aerial bombing risks spreading nuclear fallout throughout the Persian Gulf region, and beyond.

Previously Israel might have taken the risk, but America’s pressure on Israel has constantly postponed military options, until now the risk of fallout makes an attack a non-option.

It is apparent that the US itself does not have the will to attack Iran. And in spite of all the talking, negotiating, and appeasing, Iran remains undeterred!

The primary motivation behind Iranian President Ahmadinejad’s quest for nuclear weapons is the belief in a returning Mahdi, the Twelfth Imam. Ahmadinejad doesn’t merely believe the Mahdi is about to return — he considers it his responsibility to bring about the apocalyptic conditions that will surround his return!

Ahmadinejad pursues nukes as a means of laying the foundation for the Mahdi’s return. He considers the acquisition of nuclear weapons a religious mandate — one he must not compromise!

              YA MAHDI

On Friday, the day before Iran began loading its radioactive uranium rods, its Defence Minister, Brig. Gen. Ahmad Vahidi announced the launch of a special new upgraded surface-to-surface missile.

Written on the side of the missile was a poignant message for Pres. Obama and anyone who would oppose Iran  - Ya Mahdi.

The Mahdi, also known as the 12th imam, is the most important Shi’ite after Mohammad. The belief of a returning Mahdi, is a defining doctrine within the most populous group of Shi’ite Muslims (known as the “Twelvers”), to which Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is a devout adherent.

Twelvers believe that the 12th imam will emerge from hiding during a time of world chaos to bring order and exalt Shi’ite believers to their rightful place. Ahmadinejad belongs to this sect, which believes it is their job to pave the way for the Mahdi’s return. Ahmadinejad claims that Ya Mahdi has communicated with him personally and that it is within his ability to hasten the Mahdi’s return.

Iran has now sent a clear message to the world: “We are going nuclear and there is nothing you can do about it. And even if you try, we will actually welcome that because you are just doing us a favor. Long live the12th imam and hasten his return.”

Yet, in the face of Iran’s systematic march toward acquiring the means to carry out its agenda, the US and much of the West still pursue a policy of negotiation and compromise!

An official Saudi Arabian newspaper indicated that a military attack against Iran might be the only way of stopping it from obtaining nuclear weapons.  Delaying this option, the paper continues, “may lead to a point where it is impossible to implement it - if Tehran manages to produce a nuclear bomb of its own.”

In July, the United Arab Emirates ambassador to Washington said, “A military attack on Iran by whomever would be a disaster, but Iran with a nuclear weapon would be a bigger disaster. We cannot live with a nuclear Iran ... I am willing to absorb whatever takes place at the expense of the security of the U.A.E.”

Former US Ambassador to the United Nations. John Bolton, says an attack is the only way of stopping Iran’s nuclear buildup. Bolton feels that many states in the Persian Gulf region feel the same. He told Army Radio, however, that it might now be too late to attack Iran because of the radioactivity that would emanate from the bombed reactor, harming the civilian population.

“Diplomacy and sanctions against Iran have failed,” Bolton declared, “and I don’t think the West took seriously enough Iran’s efforts over the course of decades to get nuclear power. Frankly, I think the most likely outcome now is that Iran will indeed get nuclear weapons. I think the only possibility of stopping this is the use of military force - an extremely unattractive option; but it’s even more unattractive to consider a world in which Iran has nuclear weapons.”

Bolton explained that with Russia supplying fuel to Bushehr,      BOLTON

it makes the  reactor essentially immune to attack, except in the most dire circumstances - because to attack it would mean the release of radioactivity into the atmosphere and possibly into the waters of the Persian Gulf.

“I don’t think there’s a ghost of a chance that the Obama Administration will use force against Iran’s nuclear weapons program,” Bolton said. “If anyone will do it, it’s going to have to be Israel - and I don’t know what Israel is going to do... I am very worried that Obama’s fallback position is to accept an Iran with nuclear weapons. I think that can have potentially catastrophic consequences in the Middle East and beyond - but I think that’s where the Obama Administration is.”

Israeli officials have expressed disappointment that diplomacy failed to stop the plant, and have warned about their concerns at the development.

“It is totally unacceptable that a country that blatantly violates decisions of the UN Security Council and the International Atomic Energy Agency, and ignores its commitment to the Non-Proliferation Treaty charter, will enjoy the fruits of using nuclear energy,” Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman Yossi Levy said.

Israel has long warned that it cannot live with a nuclear-armed Iran, and there are still fears that Israel could launch a pre-emptive military strike on Iran.

Aug 9/10. A top Iranian commander has warned that in the event of a US-led military attack on Iran, the Islamic Republic will go after the United States until its “annihilation.” - Iranian Press TV

Iran’s Defence Minister Ahmed Wahidi said recently that Israel’s existence will be endangered if it attacks the Bushehr reactor. He said such an attack would be an “international crime.”

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told Qatari newspaper Al-Shark that if the Islamic Republic’s nuclear facilities were attacked, the response from Teheran would be “worldwide” in its scope.

Abkhazia is one of the breakaway Georgian regions that are now allied with Russia.

Aug 15/10.  Jerusalem is worried by the news that Russia has stationed powerful S-300 anti-missile batteries in Abkhazia on the Black Sea; and it believes this deployment ties in with the activation of the Bushehr reactor. It is taken as a signal that Israel’s northern air route to Iran is now closed and that Moscow will do its utmost to thwart a strike against Iran’s nuclear facilities.

The deployment was also a message of reassurance from Moscow to Tehran. Although Russia has withheld the supply of the advanced S-300 interceptors to Iran, it is indicating that it has its own methods for block-ing an American or Israel raid on the Islamic Republic.

US and Israeli military sources say that a threat from Georgia was not the reason why Russia posted advanced S-300 interceptor batteries in Abkhazia and air defense weapons in South Ossetia on the northern shore of the Black Sea - as Moscow officially maintained.

Georgia’s armed forces do not run to the sophisticated warplanes, missiles or drones that would warrant establishing the high-powered S-300 interceptors for defending the breakaway Abkhazia and South Ossetia.

Aug 22/10. The Iranian President continues his attacks against Israel and the US.

In an interview he gave to the Al-Jazeera network, Ahmadinejad said that Israel is “too weak” to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities, and added that Israel did not have “the courage to do it ... and I do not think its threat is serious.” He also said that his country would act decisively against anyone who attempts a military strike against it.

Ahmadinejad dismissed the possibility of a US strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities, saying that “America is not interested in sparking a military confrontation. There are no logical reasons for the United States to carry out such an act. Do you believe an army that has been defeated by a small army in Iraq can enter into a war with a large and well trained army like the Iranian army?”

Looking from the prophetic perspective we can expect Iran-Russia relations to be strengthened, as they prepare for their prophesied role in the coming invasion of Israel which will initiate what I believe will be the climax of the Battle for Jerusalem, and the next world war.

The destruction of Iran will take place as a result of its involvement with the Russian Confederation, during that nuclear war.

EZEKIEL 39:1-8

“The Lord, YHWH, says: ‘Listen! I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal; I will turn you around and drive you on. I will bring you from the remotest parts of the north, and send you against the mountains of Israel.

Then I will strike your bow from your left hand, and make your arrows drop from your right hand.

You will fall on the mountains of Israel, you and all your troops, and the nations who are with you. I will give you as food to birds of prey of every kind and to the wild animals. You will fall in the open field, for I have spoken, declares the Lord, YHWH.

I will also send fire on Magog and on those who live in safety in the coastlands. Then they will know that I am YHWH.

I will make My holy Name known among My people Israel; and I shall not allow My holy Name to be profaned anymore. Then the nations will know that I am YHWH, the Holy One of Israel.

Look! It is coming! It will surely take place, declares the Lord, YHWH. This is the day of which I have spoken.” (Ezekiel 39:1-8)

Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, said the Islamic Republic would not conduct talks with the United States about its nuclear program unless sanctions and military threats are lifted.  - Ha’aretz / Aug 18/10

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will visit Lebanon in September and tighten the knot connecting Iran, Syria, Turkey, Hizb’ullah and Hamas.

He will travel to Beirut after the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan. It will be Ahmadinejad’s first trip to Lebanon, and the first Iranian presidential visit there since 2003.

Aug 10/10. Israel was almost plunged into a major war in early August when Lebanese Army troops opened fire on Israeli soldiers along their shared Northern Galilee border, not far from the tense Golan Heights.  One long-serving IDF reserve officer was instantly killed and another soldier severely wounded during the unprovoked attack.

Subsequent press reports said Defence Minister Ehud Barak was on the verge of responding by launching a large military operation against Lebanon, which the Lebanese Army, Syria and Hizb’ullah would have undoubtedly fully and violently resisted.  He was said to have been talked out of doing so by French President Nicolas Sarkozy, who is close to both Israeli and Lebanese leaders. -  By David Dolan.

After the border clash, The Wall Street Journal reported that the incident was instigated by a Lebanese army brigade commander who is a Shi’ite and Hizb’ullah supporter.

The clash, in fact, coincided with the anticipated report of the international enquiry into the 2005 assassination of Lebanese PM Rafik Hariri.

It is widely believed that the UN panel will indict senior Hizb’ullah officials. And this now puts the Lebanese government in a bind, as the current Prime Minister is Saad Hariri, the son of the assassinated Rafik Hariri.

Saad Hariri detests the Shi’ite Hizb’ullah and he would like nothing better than to see his father’s killers brought to justice.

But he is also very much aware of the support Hizb’ullah enjoys among both Shi’ites and Sunnis, and he seeks to avoid being seen as too closely aligned with the West.

Hizb’ullah leader, Hassan Nasrallah, has been making news by claiming that Israel was behind the assassination of Rafik Hariri. And he claimed he was going to prove it!

Both Nasrallah and Syrian President Bashar Assad have threatened that the entire region would erupt in flames if indictments were issued against them.

Some subsequent developments …

Aug 25/10.  The Sunni community has begun to resist the Iranian-sponsored Hizb’ullah in Lebanon during the most serious political crisis in years.

Hizb’ullah and Sunni fighters exchanged heavy fire in which at least four people were killed and 10 others injured. The battle on Aug. 24 included members of the pro-Syrian Al Ahbash, believed funded by Saudi Arabia.

“The situation is very tense and the military is in the area,” a Lebanese source said.    -

Aug 25/10.  Hizb’ullah leader Hassan Nasrallah called on the Lebanese government to seek Iran’s assistance in providing arms for the Lebanese army.

“I vow that Hizb’ullah will work fervently and capitalize on its friendship with Iran to ensure it helps arm the Lebanese military in any way it can, and Hizb’ullah’s ministers will make that same vow before the cabinet,” Nasrallah said in a speech on Hizb’ullah’s al-Manar satellite station.

Nasrallah’s statement comes two weeks after the United States   announced a freeze on support to the Lebanese army, a decision made in the wake of deadly border clashes between Lebanese and Israeli troops Aug. 3, the report said. –

Aug 26/10.  Iran is prepared to sell weapons to Lebanon if Beirut asks for help in equipping its military, says Iran’s defence minister.

Gen. Ahmad Vahidi’s comments come a day after the leader of Lebanon’s Shi’ite Hizb’ullah group, Sheik Hassan Nasrallah, called on the Lebanese government to formally seek military assistance from Iran. “Lebanon is our friend,” Vahidi was quoted as saying by the official IRNA news agency. “If there is a demand in this respect, we are ready to help that country and conduct weapons transactions with it.”

Nasrallah vowed that his Iranian-backed group could help secure the aid for Lebanon’s poorly equipped army. He made his suggestion after a US congressman suspended $100 million of American military aid to Lebanon earlier this month over concerns the weapons could be used against Israel and that Hizb’ullah may have influence over the Lebanese army.   –

Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Sudan and Turkey have all initiated nuclear programs. And if Iran is allowed to go nuclear, these countries will beat a path to any number of nuclear bomb stores.

Aug 24/10.  Hassan Nasrallah has his sights set on a nuclear reactor in Lebanon. The Hizb’ullah secretary-general has commented on the country’s electricity crisis for the first time and presented an original solution in a televised speech on the organization’s al-Manar channel.

Nasrallah urged the Lebanese government to draw conclusions from the current electricity crisis and follow in Iran’s footsteps by building a nuclear reactor to generate electricity like the reactor in Bushehr.

Aug 26/10. Egypt’s President Hosni Mubarak announced that the country’s first nuclear power plant will be built at El Dabaa on the Mediterranean coast.

The Associated Press reported that Energy Minister Hassan Younis said the decision is intended to “prioritize national interests and to give a big boost to the Egyptian nuclear program.”  The plant will cost an estimated $1.5 billion, some of which will be financed by the government. Tenders will be issued by the end of the year.

Saudi Arabia’s shopping list for American-made weapons has swelled to $60 billion, double the amount estimated for the previously announced purchase of 84 F-15 warplanes.

The oil kingdom now is interested in 132 attack helicopters worth another $30 billion. The Obama administration insists, “The proposed sale of this equipment and support will not affect the basic military balance in the region.”

In mid August, two weeks ahead of a schedule set by President Barack Obama, the last large US combat brigade left Iraq.

Some American combat forces remained in the country until August 31st to formally transition the US presence to an advisory and training operation. 50,000 other, no-combatant troops remain to train and support the Iraqi army until the end of 2011.

As with many commentators, and prophecy teachers, I believe that post US-invasion Iraq, with its 60% Shia population, will fall into Iran’s fundamentalist orbit, and become once more, a violent enemy of Israel.

The destruction of Babylon (Iraq) has been foretold in Jeremiah chapters 50 & 51.

“YHWH has opened His arsenal and has brought out the weapons of His wrath, for the Sovereign Master, Yahweh of Hosts, has a work to do in the land of the Chaldeans. Come against her from the farthest border; break open her storehouses. Pile her up like heaps of ruins, and utterly destroy her. Let nothing be left of her.” (Jeremiah 50:25-26)

“Therefore this is what YHWH says: ‘Watch! I am going to plead your case, and I will avenge you. I will dry up her sea and make her water sources dry. Babylon will become a heap of ruins, a haunt of jackals, and object of horror and scorn, without inhabitants. The sea has come up over Babylon; she has been engulfed with its many tumultuous waves. Her cities have become ruined and desolate, a parched and desert land; a land where no-man lives and through which no son of man passes’.” (Jeremiah 51:36-37; 42-43)

The Arabs’ belief that President Obama could deliver on promises for a “new beginning” has been dashed, an annual survey of public opinion in Middle Eastern countries shows.

The survey of Arab public opinion shows that positive views of President Obama have plummeted from 45% in 2009 to 20% today, with the negative views of him skyrocketing from 23% to 62%.

While Obama has been claiming that his “outstretched hand” approach will win the US new friends in the Mideast, the poll suggests otherwise. Only 12% expressed favorable views of the United States, even lower than the 15% that the Bush administration got in its final year.

According to Middle East analyst, Arabs have “grown frustrated at Obama’s perceived failure to deliver on the promise of the ‘new beginning’ outlined in Cairo, and had begun to lose hope in his ability to meaningfully change American policies towards the region.”

While Israel is hoping for a peaceful resolution to Iran’s nuclear ambitions, the Jewish state is also preparing for “a time of war,” declared a Knesset member of Israel’s ruling Likud party. “We are prepared for all risks,” said Danny Danon. “And I think our enemies should know that even though we are speaking of peace, we are getting ready for a time of war, as well.”

Danon, the deputy speaker of Israel’s parliament, was speaking in a radio interview with WorldNetDdaily.

Danon hinted that Israel may be forced to act if the world does not stop the Iranian nuclear threat, recalling Israel’s lone strike on Iraq’s nuclear reactor in 1981.

“We are ready for all scenarios, and we are able to defend our civilian population. I cannot tell you how much longer we can wait. But we prefer to wait and see if the international bodies are acting, or [whether] it will be only the burden of Israel, like it was in the early ’80s, when the great leader, Menachem Begin, [made] the great decision to bomb the nuclear reactor in Iraq.”  –

Prepare for War!  (Joel 3:9)

Aug 26/10.  The White House has apparently decided that military action against Iran is now out of the question, and that the best option is to accept Iran as a nuclear power, and seek to contain it through inspections. And the US must also continue to restrain Israel from making any military strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities.

To make Israel feel secure in the new reality, Obama’s representatives have “proposed” 4 steps for strengthening the Israeli armed forces and lending it a second-strike capability - even against an Iranian nuke attack.

1. The US must spread a nuclear umbrella over Israel that would entail the installation of American nuclear depots in Israel to show Tehran that a nuclear attack on the Jewish state would meet with a US nuclear response.

2. American nuclear submarines would be supplied to the Israeli Navy as the backbone of its nuclear counter-strike. There are two categories - ballistic missile submarines and attack submarines.

3. The Israeli Air Force would receive US F-22 Raptor stealth jets, the most sophisticated warplane in the skies today. They would be equipped with all the systems and ordnance needed to strike the Iranian nuclear program.

4. The US would arrange for Israel’s full membership of NATO, so rendering an Iranian nuclear attack on Israel subject not just to US retaliation but a declaration of war by the 26-member alliance.

To qualify for these American security benefits, Israel would be required to come to terms with a nuclear-armed Iran and abandon any plan for military action against it.

This “deterrence” would supposedly provide Israel with the security of a nuclear umbrella.

The Netanyahu government, however, is most unlikely to accept this plan. For what would all the wonderful new military systems be to Israel for a second-strike capability, when an initial Iranian nuclear attack would suffice to wipe out the tiny Jewish state? A response is awaited from the Netanyahu government.   – source debkafile

The International Quartet - the US, the EU, Russia and the UN - invited Israelis and Palestinians to begin direct peace talks at a Summit in Washington on Sept. 1

President Barack Obama, Egyptian President Mubarak, and King Abdullah of Jordan, were present at the summit, along with Binyamin Netanyahu and Mahmoud Abbas.

The day after the summit, (2nd), Israel and the Palestinians embarked on direct talks that aim at concluding with a treaty within one year.

After a  breakdown of the peace process at the end of 2008, there was a lapse of 20 months. Indirect talks began last May as a step towards direct talks. But it has been a struggle to get to the new talks on the way.

Israel insisted it is ready for direct talks provided there are no preconditions. The Palestinians are ready provided there is a clear agenda. Israel said an agenda would mean preconditions. Obama’s pressure has finally caused the two parties to agree - to start.

Diplomats say the idea of a Palestinian unilateral declaration of statehood could win support if talks collapse in the next 12 months.

The Palestinian Authority government intends to establish all the attributes of statehood by mid-2011.

The PA has maintained that it will not continue in the talks if the freeze on Jewish construction, which is due to expire on Sept. 26, is not extended.

Netanyahu and other government leaders have said many times that the expiration date is final.

Aug 22/10. Israel’s PM has demanded that any future Palestinian state be demilitarized and that it must recognise Israel as the Jewish homeland, as he staked out his starting position for the new Mideast peace talks.

Many security experts in Israel have reiterated that Netanyahu’s insistence on a demilitarized Palestinian state is critical for Israel’s existence.

Sources in Netanyahu’s office emphasize that the talks will deal first with final-status security arrangements, and only afterwards with the borders and Israel’s territorial concessions.

The Palestinian Authority, on the other hand, says the talks must be comprehensive and deal with all matters in dispute.

PA Chief Mahmoud Abbas has sent a letter to the Quartet (US, EU, Russia, UN) saying the end of the newly-announced direct talks with Israel will come quickly if Israel resumes construction.

Moreover, the Palestinian Authority has told the U.S. administration that an Israeli commitment to continuing the freeze on settlement construction must include East Jerusalem.

Aug 23/10. PA President Mahmoud Abbas has warned in a letter to EU high representative Catherine Ashton that ending Israel’s settlement freeze would bring an immediate halt to direct peace talks between the two sides.

Israel announced a ten-month freeze on all new Jewish construction in Judea and Samaria nine months ago, with the hope and understanding that this would bring the Palestinian Authority to the negotiating table. Nine months of stagnation then passed over Judea and Samaria while the PA still refused to agree to direct talks. Now, ironically, as the freeze is about to expire, the PA has agreed to the talks, while threatening to end them if the freeze ends.

PM Binyamin Netanyahu and other members of his government have emphasized repeatedly that the freeze must and will end when it expires on Sept. 26.

Renewed construction in the settlements could spell disaster for the peace talks before they even get off the ground. But extending the freeze could cause Netanyahu’s hard-line Israeli government to crumble.

A report says the Americans are not inclined to adopt a compromise proposed by Deputy PM Dan Meridor that would see construction continue in large settlement blocs that Israel expects to retain under a future peace deal, but not in isolated settlements.

Foreign Minister, Avigdor Lieberman, has proposed that Israel should be allowed settlement construction based on natural growth.

Israel National News spoke with people on “both sides of the street” and discovered almost everyone thinks direct talks will start in a blind alley and end up in a dead end.

“They heal the brokenness of the daughter of My people superficially, saying, ‘Peace, peace, but there is no peace’.” (Jeremiah 8:11)

The following is the conclusion of an Opinion Article by commentator, Israel Harel, in Ha’aretz, Aug 26/10.

The minimalist Jewish Zionist consensus requires recognition of Israel as the homeland of the Jewish people; relinquishing the “right of return”; ending the conflict and waiving all further demands once the agreement is signed; no division of Jerusalem by formal agreement, as opposed to practical arrangements; and the continued existence of the settlement blocs.

Are the Palestinians prepared to accept this Zionist minimum? Absolutely not!

But even if this time, the Palestinians didn’t want to miss another opportunity, those with the real power would torpedo the process: Tehran, Damascus, Hizb’ullah in Beirut, and soon also in Baghdad where Iran will pull the strings. They would never accept recognizing Israel as the home of the Jewish people.

They would use force to prevent the Palestinians from relinquishing the right of return, to prevent a declaration that the Arabs have no more ideological, religious and territorial claims in Palestine, that the conflict has ended.

The man who has forced Abbas to go to Washington, is the same one who, by withdrawing from Iraq and appeasing Iran, sowed the seeds of trouble that will undermine any agreement. Iraq’s abandonment by the United States is creating regional instability.

The one who will benefit from the chaos is the one with power, defined goals and the determination to achieve them: Iran. And America, its wings clipped by choice and fearing another entanglement, will not be able to stop Iran from achieving decisive influence in the region and completing its nuclear bomb project. The axis of evil will not make do with its outpost in Gaza.

Given this situation, how could Abbas reach an agreement, even if he wanted to?

Terror is likely to resume during the talks, in order to thwart them. And Israel must prepare on all fronts for a long period of unrest - because Egypt is also in transition, characterized by instability, and the Jordanian monarch, as we all have seen and heard, is in a panic.

There is no certainty that the instability will lead to war. But it certainly doesn’t bring peace between us and the Palestinians, or with most of the Arab world, any closer. Obama, when he imposed the direct talks, apparently didn’t think about that. Thus the peace talks bring us no prospect of peace - only the seeds of war.

Aug 23/10. Israel must chose between “settlements or peace,” Palestinian chief negotiator Saeb Erakat said ahead of the September restart of negotiations in Washington.

“The choice of the Israeli government is settlement or peace, they cannot have both,” he said at a news conference in Ramallah, the political capital of the Israeli-occupied West Bank. But he also said he believed agreement could be reached within one year.  –

Aug 29/10.The military wing of the Hamas terrorist organization that controls Gaza has threatened to “step on the heads” of the PA government if it compromises on Jerusalem and other issues, in direct talks with Israel.

Khalil al-Haya, a senior member of the Hamas leadership, announced in Gaza that the group would “step on the heads of those who dare give up the right of return to Jerusalem and Palestine.”

Al-Haya said the talks in Washington, would give Israel the excuse to “wipe away the Palestinian presence, continue Judaizing Jerusalem, continue building settlements and erase the Palestinian right of return.”

He called on PA Arabs to “rise up” against the talks and against the Ramallah-based PA negotiators who are set to travel to the United States. PA Chairman and Fatah leader Mahmoud Abbas does not “represent Palestine, Jerusalem, the refugees, or al-Aqsa,” Al-Haya said.  – Arutz Sheva

“They have said, ‘Come, and let us destroy them as a nation, that the name of Israel may be remembered no more.’ For they have conspired together with one mind; they make a pact against You; the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab and the Hagarites; Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre.” (Psalm 83:4-7)

Aug 15/10.  The chief of the Arab League warned that Israel’s actions could bring about a final end to the Middle East peace process.

Amr Moussa urged an Arab leadership summit in Libya to forge a new strategy to pressure Israel, saying the peace process could not be “an open ended process.”

“We must prepare for the possibility that the peace process will be a complete failure,” Moussa said. “This is the time to stand up to Israel. We must find alternative options, because the situation appears to have reached a turning point.”

At the conclusion of the 22nd Arab League summit in Libya in April, the long-standing positions of the League were again confirmed. The Arab nations will not recognize Israel as a legal state with a right to exist under any conditions.

Hizb’ullah reportedly has built a tunnel system ‘more impressive than the Paris underground’ to counter IDF strikes. An elaborate network of tunnels that will allow its members to fight a future war against Israel without being exposed to Air Force bombardments and IDF surveillance, a Kuwaiti newspaper says.

A Yemenite al-Qaeda leader tells followers to prepare for Israel-Iran war, urging pilots to replicate 9/11 attacks in Israel. Al-Qaeda wants a 9/11 in Israel.

Aug 16/10.  Eleven militant Palestinian groups based in Syria have warned against a “concession and compromise,” and they oppose the resumption of direct negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian Authority.

Aug 25/10. Debkafile reports on a belligerent speech delivered by Hamas’ Damascus-based political leader, Khaled Meshaal on Aug. 24.  Information reaching Israel and the Palestinian Authority intelligence services that the extremist Palestinian group is set for large-scale terror attacks against Israeli and Palestinian West Bank targets.

debkafile’s sources report that Hamas is setting its sights on torpedoing the direct Israel-Palestinian negotiations in Washington.

Hamas is said to be preparing to activate its West Bank networks for coordinated strikes against a major target inside Israel and another associated with Abbas’ power base, or the US and British-trained Palestinian security forces.

However, if those networks are thwarted by the preventive measures set in motion, Hamas will resort to attacks from the Gaza Strip which it controls, or from Sinai, across the leaky Egyptian-Israeli border.

Israeli and Palestinian security officials do not rule out a Hamas strike from Lebanon or even from the Mediterranean Sea.

Khaled Meshaal’s speech was exceptionally vicious. Never before, had he dared vent his fury on Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak and Jordan’s King Abdullah.

For the first time, Meshaal not only openly criticized Mubarak and Abdullah, but he also threatened them: Should they refuse to boycott the US-sponsored Israel-Palestinian negotiations, he said, “The results … will be catastrophic for the interests and the security of Jordan and Egypt.”

The Hamas leader showed he was even prepared to jeopardize the lifelines given his organization by both Arab governments: Egypt provides Hamas officials and military leaders with their only exit route from Gaza, while Jordan tolerates Hamas’ extensive political organization, which has always been careful not to upset its delicate ties with the royal family and risk its freedom of action there.

Meshaal had only venom to pour on Mahmoud Abbas, who, he predicted, would end up like Yasser Arafat. He depicted the PA Chairman as an enemy of Islam, accusing him of setting loose Palestinian security forces on mosques, Islamic charitable associations, cultural centers and Koran study groups.

Allowing the Shin Bet director Yuval Diskin to visit Jenin - the city of martyrs - was unconscionable (bad, immoral), Meshaal said, and so was permitting Israeli officers to be present at training courses for Palestinian security officers.

The direct talks with Israel, he said, aimed at “liquidating” the Palestinian cause.

Meshaal’s speech was the last straw, Palestinian and other Arab intelligence officials said. The breach between him and Mahmoud Abbas must be seen as final and irrevocable.  -

Jerusalem’s railway station, Haifa’s Carmel Tunnels, and the Habima parking lot in Tel Aviv, are among places slated to protect thousands from chemical or biological attacks.

“Israel is preparing to build additional large underground spaces which would be able to absorb tens of thousands of people and protect them from non-conventional weapons for a long period of time,” said Major-General Ronny Seri, head of the Home Front Command’s fortification department.

The Home Front Command’s flagship project will undoubtedly be the railway station in Jerusalem which will serve the fast train from Tel Aviv to the capital. The station’s lower level will be 80 meters deep (262 feet) and in times of emergency it would turn into an underground bomb shelter which would be able to protect 5,000.

An Israeli oil exploration company has announced a potential new oil field.

Estimates of the amount of oil in the Rosh HaAyin discovery have rises to 1.5 billion barrels, and there is more oil off-shore, but it is not yet known how much of the “black gold” can be extracted for commercial use.

The new estimate, along with the gas and oil finds off the Mediterranean Coast, raise the likelihood that Israel will be self-sufficient for energy for the next three decades and even become an exporter of gas.

The amount of oil at Rosh HaAyin represents a tiny percentage of Israel’s oil consumption, but development is continuing in the area as well as in the Dead Sea.

The Book of Deuteronomy indicates “oil” and “hidden treasures” will be found in Israel in the last days of the age.

“They shall call peoples to the mountain; there they shall offer righteous sacrifices; for they shall draw out the abundance of the seas, and the hidden treasures of the sand.”

“Of Asher he said, ‘More blessed than sons is Asher. May he be favoured by his brothers, and may he dip his foot in oil’.” (Deuteronomy 33:19, 24)

On August 8, 2010, at a big public meeting held in Perth, West Australia, a new organisation was launched called, “FRIENDS OF ISRAEL, WESTERN AUSTRALIA (INC).”  Its aims are …

*    to promote the interest of Israel as the State of the Jewish people.

*    to defend Israel’s right to live in peace and security, free from threats of terrorism, and,

*    to ensure accurate and fair reporting on the Middle East.

Its brochure says: “All over the world, people are joining together to take a stand for democratic values and freedoms. They know that to take such a stand also means to support Israel, her right to defend her citizens, and to live in peace and security, free from threats of terrorism.

“They know that Israel is the best ally of the free nations -  a champion of democratic values in the Middle East; and a dynamic and open society that has contributed to culture, science and technology.

“They know that Israel is in the front lines of the global battle between those who love life and those who glorify death. They know that if Israel falls, we all fall.”

Israel and Greece have drawn closer recently after Binyamin Netanyahu traveled to Greece in mid-August, making him the first sitting Israeli prime minister to visit the country. His trip follows Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou’s visit to Israel in July.

In July, Netanyahu said Israel and Greece would undergo “a major upgrade in relations” that would include closer ties in finance, tourism and technology. During this latest meeting, Netanyahu and Papandreou will discuss the possibility of forging defence ties, officials said.

Israel’s tighter ties with Greece come on the heels of a crisis in Israeli ties with Turkey, which has been increasingly critical of Israeli policy under the Erdogan administration.

Netanyahu’s spokesman Mark Regev said the prime minister’s visit reflected a “new dynamism in Israel-Greek relations.”  Many have attributed the “new dynamism” to the breakdown of ties with Turkey, saying that Israel is seeking new Mediterranean allies.

Greece, which has historically had a hostile relationship with Turkey, apparently also sees an advantage in drawing  closer to Turkey’s former ally.

Former Foreign Ministry Director Alon Liel gave a more simple explanation for Netanyahu’s trip. Speaking to, Liel said, “Israel is not so popular these days, so if you’re invited to go visit a full member of the European Union like Greece, why not?”

Aug 9/10. Much of the so-called aid sent to Gaza in order to “break the siege” is worse than useless, Gaza officials said in a recent interview with Al-Jazeera that was translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI). Officials estimated that only 30% of the medicines and medical equipment sent could be put to use.

The apostle Paul reminds us that the creation groans while waiting for its deliverance from the curse at the end of the age.

“For the intense longing of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, with the anticipation that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the glorious freedom of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now.

“And not only this, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, we also groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our body.” (Romans 8:19-23)

The Bible foretells many signs that would culminate in the last days. Jesus indicated that these signs would arise together, occurring together in concert, as His return drew near. (Matthew 24:33-34)

He said that chaotic and strange weather would be prevalent.  (Luke 21:25-26).

Jesus foresaw the seas and the waves roaring in the last days. He also likened these signs to birth pangs (Matthew 24:8).

The Greek word odin, often translated as sorrows in Matthew 24:8, literally means birth pangs. We are seeing an increase in strange weather patterns as prophesied; floods, droughts, famines, earthquakes, etc., and it is because the earth, ‘creation’ itself, longs to be freed from the curse.

As delivery draws near, birth pangs always increase in both intensity and frequency. Therefore, the creation itself would travail as the time of delivery draws near.

These days we are seeing natural disasters occurring regularly, particularly fires, floods. cyclones, earthquakes, and extreme heat and cold, one after the other all around the world.

The present day disasters happening are often referred to as “unprecedented.”

Six of the worst this year have been …

JANUARY 2010.   HAITI EARTHQUAKE.     7.0.

230,000 dead. 250,000 injured.  1½ million homeless.

700 dead. Most died as the result of the tsunami. The 8.8. quake was 7th greatest earthquake ever recorded.  90% of the historic town of Curico was destroyed.

APRIL. THE ICELAND VOLCANO shut down air traffic over much of Europe, and severely hit Iceland’s fragile economy.

AUGUST. THE PAKISTAN FLOODS. The UN described the disaster as “the worst monsoon-related floods in living memory.” 20 million people were affected, and about 8 million acres of crops were wiped out.

The disaster began in late July when the rising waters inundated around one-fifth of the country, destroyed around one million houses, killed around 1,700 people, and injured 2500. More than 90% of the population in the affected areas were evacuated.

Millions were left homeless and stranded. 3.5 million children were at risk of waterborne diseases such as cholera and gastro-enteritis.

JULY-AUGUST. Enormous mud slides and floods in CHINA affecting millions.

AUGUST. THE RUSSIAN HEATWAVE & MASSIVE FIRES. In the hottest summer since records began in Russia 130 years ago,  700 “worse ever” fires hit some 500 town and villages.  20% of grain crops were destroyed.

Aug 15/10. An emergency ban on Russian grain exports came into force today, raising fears that bread prices around the world could increase sharply.

The ban will extend from August 15 until December 31, but Vladimir Putin has indicated it could last well into next year if the harvest is bad.

Russia, the world’s number three wheat exporter last year, has already said that its grain harvest this year will be just 60-65 million tonnes, compared to 97 million tonnes in 2009.

The Kremlin was forced to halt grain exports after an unprecedented heat wave, drought and hundreds of wild fires destroyed a third of its grain crop, meaning it will struggle to even meet its own domestic needs.

The ban has caused wheat prices worldwide to surge, fuelling fears of a repeat of the 2008 food crisis.  - Telegraph UK

“And there will be earthquakes in various places.”   (Matthew 24:7)

You can’t pray on the steps of the Supreme Court.  And now a New Mexico federal judge has warned a graduating class that he was sending a US Marshall to their graduation to ensure nobody said the Name ‘Jesus’; if they did they would spend six months in jail. “Anyone who violates these orders, no kidding, is going to wish that he or she had died as a child when this court gets through with it all,” the judge told the students.

A teacher at the Lynn Lucas Middle School in Houston Texas threw away two students’ Truth for Youth Bibles, calling them “garbage.” She then took the students to the principal’s office where she threatened to call Child Protective Services onto their parents for permitting them to bring their Bibles.

Later at the same school, different officials threw away students’ book covers showing the Ten Commandments, claiming the commandments were hate speech and could offend students.

Senior citizens in Balch Springs, Texas were forbidden from saying grace before meals because the food was federally-subsidised.  Praying over federally-subsidized food, “the authorities” say, violates the provisions of the 1st Amendment which says:

“Congress shall make no rule respecting the establishment of religion nor prohibit the free exercise thereof.”

Then why prohibit the free exercise of prayer?

In another case, school officials at the University of New Orleans denied Michelle Beadle permission to hand out an evangelistic tract that encourages Jewish people to embrace Jesus Christ as the true Messiah.

The university told Beadle, a Messianic Jew who works as a missionary for Christian Jew Foundation Ministries, that the content of the literature may be offensive’ to some people.

Oh, how great is Your goodness, which You have stored up for those who fear You; which You have prepared for those who trust in You, in the sight of the sons of men! You hide them in the secrecy of Your Presence from the conspiracies of men. You keep them in a shelter from the strife of tongues.” (Psalm 31:19-20)

Aug 20/10. In a victory, not only for freedom of speech, but also for Christians and the ability to share their faith in an increasingly hostile climate in America, a California Appeal Court issued a sharp rebuke to a local shopping mall for arresting a Christian youth pastor.

Matthew Snatchko, the youth pastor, was arrested in 2007 for engaging in casual conversation about faith in Jesus Christ with two other shoppers. Even though the shoppers had given permission to him to speak to them regarding the subject, a store employee objected and called mall security, who then arrested Mr. Snatchko.

Under Roseville Galleria Mall rules, shoppers are not allowed to engage in conversational topics such as religion or politics, because the mall says they may be potentially controversial. The criminal charges were later dropped against Mr. Snatchko.

However, Pacific Justice Institute (PJI) attorneys thought it prudent to file suit to challenge the mall’s restrictions on free speech.

The Sacramento Court of Appeal struck down the mall’s rules as unconstitutionally vague and restrictive of free speech. And the court indicated Mr. Snatchko would be able to collect damages and attorney’s fees, and awarded him costs on appeal.

“We are very pleased with this landmark ruling by the California Court of Appeal that vindicates the right to engage in casual conversations about faith without fear of being arrested,” the PJI President said. “This is a great victory for free speech and common sense.” - Worthy News

Aug 15/10.  Democracy could ‘collapse’ in Greece, Spain and Portugal unless urgent action is taken to tackle the debt crisis, the head of the European Commission has warned.

In an extraordinary briefing to trade union chiefs last week, Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso set out an ‘apocalyptic’ vision in which crisis-hit countries in southern Europe could fall victim to military coups or popular uprisings as interest rates soar and public services collapse because their governments run out of money.

The stark warning came as it emerged that EU chiefs have begun work on an emergency bailout package for Spain which is likely to run into hundreds of billions of pounds. A £650 billion bailout for Greece has already been agreed.  -

“The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings from the rising of the sun - the East.” (Revelation 16:12)

Aug 10. China has passed Japan to become the second-largest economy behind the US. After three decades of spectacular growth, it has passed Japan to become the world’s second-largest economy behind the US, according to government figures.

The milestone, though anticipated, is the most striking evidence yet of China’s ascendance and that the rest of the world will have to reckon with a new economic superpower.

The recognition came as Tokyo said Japan’s economy was valued at about $1.28 trillion in the second quarter, slightly below China’s $1.33 trillion. Experts say unseating Japan — and in recent years passing Germany, France and Great Britain — underscores China’s growing clout and bolsters forecasts that China will pass the US as the world’s biggest economy as early as 2030. America’s gross domestic product was about $14 trillion in 2009.  -

China certainly appears to be the leader of the endtime Kings of the East!

China performs more abortions than any other country in the world, about 13 million a year, mostly for young single women who aren’t using contraception. One expert says the figures show many Chinese now consider the cheap, widely available procedure an acceptable form of birth control.   NewsMax / Aug 10

And around the world, millions more are exterminated so that they never see the light of day.

“But realize this, that in the last days perilous times will come. For men will be lovers of self, (utterly self-centered), lovers of money … disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy (profane), without natural affection (callous and inhuman), unloving … without self-control, brutal.” (2 Timothy 3:1-3)

Aug 17/10. Oil from the Deepwater Horizon spill formed an underwater plume of hydrocarbons the size of Manhattan, scientists say, raising fears of a lingering cloud of trace chemicals in the Gulf with an unknown long-term impact.

“One major misconception is that the oil that has dissolved into water is gone and therefore, harmless,” he said. The oil is still out there and it will likely take years to completely degrade. We are still far from a complete understanding of what its impacts are.”

Nearly 80 percent of the oil spilled from a BP well in the Gulf of Mexico is still in the gulf, US scientists have estimated, challenging a more optimistic assessment by the US government earlier in the month that said about half of the oil spilled by the April 20 blowout had been evaporated, burned, skimmed or dispersed.

A team of scientists from the University of Georgia came to a different conclusion.

“We just reanalyzed this report...and then we calculated how much oil is still likely to be out there and that is how we came up to 70 to 79% that must be out there,” said Charles Hopkinson, a marine scientist at the University of Georgia.

Oil from the Deepwater Horizon spill may have settled to the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico further east than previously suspected and at levels toxic to marine life, researchers reported.

Initial findings from a new survey of the Gulf conclude that dispersants may have sent the oil to the ocean floor, where it has turned up at the bottom of an undersea canyon within 40 miles of the Florida Panhandle. Plankton and other organisms showed a “strong toxic response” to the crude, according to researchers from the University of South Florida.

“The dispersant is moving the oil down out of the surface and into the deeper waters, where it can affect phytoplankton and other marine life,” said John Paul, a marine microbiologist at USF.

Aug. 18/10.  Jesuit Father Federico Lombardi, a Vatican spokesman says Benedict XVI’s trip to the UK in September will be an opportunity to effectively present a secularized society with the positive contribution and beauty of the “Christian faith” and the Roman Catholic Church.

The spokesman said that the Pope’s first-day meeting with the Queen is “awaited with great intensity and emotion,” as is the Scotland leg of the trip. The Pope will be in Scotland on the day of the feast of St. Ninian, who is the patron, the evangeliser of Scotland - a very important day for the Scots.”

Lombardi added that the ecumenical dimension of the trip should not be discounted. That element includes a meeting between the Pope and the leader of the Anglican Communion, the Archbishop of Canterbury.

In reference to the novelty of this visit, compared to that of Pope John Paul II, 30 years ago, Father Lombardi stressed that much has changed, particularly elements such asthe approach of the visit itself, which has the aspect of a state visit with an official invitation from the queen and the government, whereas that of John Paul II was more specifically pastoral.”

I would say that what is expected, what can be desired, truly hoped for from this visit is the fact of making it understood, of presenting the service of the Christian faith and the service of the Catholic Church for a very developed but also a very secularized society, such as that of the United Kingdom,” he said.A reality, where perhaps many persons wonder about the value of Christian witness and Catholic witness in society.

We hope that this trip will also be a manifestation of the beauty, of the positiveness of the Holy Fathers service in society, much more so in times in which we also have had moments [several hundred years] of controversy.

The danger of ecumenism (religious union) is constituents of the union are required to compromise – sink their differences.  A true Bible believer can never deny the Word of God; and that Word says:

“Come out of her, My people, so that you will not participate in her sins, and that you will not receive of her plagues; ‘for her sins have piled up as high as heaven, and God has remembered her depravity and crimes.” (Revelation 18:4-5)

Aug 15/10.  In mid-May, police discovered 23 Christians meeting in an underground church in North Korea. They were arrested and interrogated at length. Three “ringleaders” of the group were sentenced to death and executed,” AsiaNews said. “The others were sent to Kwanliso, a notorious Penal Labor Colony.

Attacks on Christians in various parts of India are occurring quite regularly. Evangelists and pastors in particular, are targetted and accused of forcibly converting Hindus.

In one such event, on July  6, a Christian woman, Amodini, (40), was brutally attacked  for sharing her faith in Karnataka. Amodini is a member of a church where a Gospel for Asia-supported missionary serves as pastor. She was at her home when a group of 15 men arrived and began accusing her of forcing people to convert to Christianity. They then grabbed and began to beat her.

Witnesses of the horrific scene said, “Amodini’s clothes were removed in public and she was attacked with knives.” At last report, she was hospitalized and in critical condition. Police have arrested 14 of the accused attackers. (Source: Assist News Service)

The believers in the area ask for prayers for Amodini, that the Lord would heal her wounds, and that the peace of God will keep her firm in her faith. Pray that believers in India will continue to be bold in sharing the Gospel amid violent opposition.

“A servant is not greater than his master. If they persecuted Me, they will persecute you also.” (John 15:20)

“Who shall separate us from the love of the Messiah? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?” (Romans 8:35)

                       THE GOOD NEWS !!!

There does not seem to be much good news in the world today, but there is some good news!

Yahweh the Almighty is working in many places around the world in great grace. Many precious souls, including Muslims and Hindus, are turning to the Saviour, and are being saved and delivered from sin and bondage.

And the Bible certainly gives us good news. Let me mention, three main good news promises of God:

The great and glorious Gospel:

“Now I make known to you, brethren, the Gospel which I preached to you ... that Christ (the Messiah) died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.”           (1 Corinthians 15:1, 3-4)

“For the Scripture says, whoever believes in Him (the Messiah) will not be disappointed. There is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Master is Master of all, abounding in riches for all who call upon Him, for whoever will call upon the Name of Y’shua the LORD will be saved.”   (Romans 10:11-13)

This Good News is for everyone who will receive and believe it.

“For Yahweh, the Eternal God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten (His one-and-only eternal) Son, so that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal (everlasting) life. (John 3:16)

This Good News is for all who have received Jesus, Y’shua the Messiah, as their personal Saviour. It is the promise of the glorious Rapture - the catching up of believers to meet the Master in the air. The Master is coming soon, to receive His people to Himself - and to take them to the New Jerusalem - the Heavenly City that He has prepared for them. As He promised:

“In My Father’s House are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you, for I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, so that you also may be where I am.” (John 14:2-3)

“For the Master Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. Then the dead in Christ - those who died in union with the Messiah - shall rise first. Then we, the living believers who remain, will simultaneously be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Master in the air. And so we will be with the Master for ever.”   (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)

This event is imminent. It could happen any day now!  So believer, look up!  He will come as He said.

The Messiah taught His people to pray:

“Our Father in Heaven, hallowed be Your Name. Your kingdom come; Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.” (Matthew 6:9-10)

The Kingdom of God, in the near future, is to replace the kingdoms of this world, as the Messiah King reigns in righteousness. The whole earth will be cleansed, restored and filled with the knowledge and glory of God.

“For the LORD of Hosts will reign on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, and His glory will be before His elders.”    (Isaiah 24:23)

“Then I saw thrones, and sitting on them were those to whom authority to judge was given. And I saw the souls of  those  who  had  been  beheaded  because  of  their testimony for Y’shua and because of the Word of God - these had not worshipped the beast or his image and had not received his mark upon their foreheads or upon their hands. They came to life and reigned with the Messiah for the thousand years.”   (Revelation 20:4)

This is tremendous Good News for the remnant of people who will be saved during the Great Tribulation.   It is good news for the planet Earth, for the Master will come to bring restoration.

It is good news also for the Body of the Messiah (the born again believers), for they will reign with the King (from the Heavenly City) during the 1,000 year Millennial kingdom.

My dear reader, if you have not yet received the Lord Jesus Christ as your own personal Saviour, why don’t you call on His Name right now - believe in Him - express your faith in Him as the Saviour who died for you,  and  who  rose  again  to  be  your  ever-present Saviour.  Just  pray  to  Him  in  simple  words,  and receive the forgiveness of your sins, and the gift of eternal life that He offers freely to all who put their trust in Him. This prayer may help you to express your faith.

Heavenly Father,

I come to You just as I am, a sinner needing Your forgiveness, and salvation.

I believe that Your Son, Jesus, Y’shua,  paid the penalty for all my sins when He died, as my substitute, on the cross.  I believe that He rose from the dead, and that He is the living Saviour for all who call on His Name.  And Father, I call on His Name right now, and ask You to forgive my sin, to save me, to make me a new person, and to make me Your child.

Lord Jesus I give my life to You, and by Your enabling power, I will follow You, and own You as my Saviour and Master from this day on. Master, make me Your faithful witness.

Thank You Father, for hearing my prayer. Thank You for Your forgiveness and salvation.  Thank You, Y’shua, for dying for me, and for paying my penalty, and thank You for Your gift of eternal life.

Thank You Father.  I pray in Jesus’ Name.  Amen
